Thanks, I didn't see that before.

I have a few of them.... let me look for the link to where I got them.
OK... the link I have is non-existant at this time.... let me go look for a box.... I am strikin' out tonight. I couldn't find my original box so I took a few pics instead.
I took mine apart once to rearrange the potpourri. There is a short string of "cool" burning lights. Like on a christmas tree. Wrapped around a thick cardboard tube. It is hollow. Then they put the potpourri in after with the scent. I also have the refresher oil. They are very nice.
I was not as much help as I had hoped to be... but hopefully I helped a bit. If you have any question... feel free to ask.
That one is cool how the light is actually in the jar. Thanks for the pics!

I would say Lilac also...or Lavender

I didn't but vanilla lime sure does sound good

Looks pretty cool. I'm not familiar with making my own scents yet but I really want to learn and this could really be useful. Thanks!

Great list of links, thanks!

I've been seeing a lot of candles around with the angeled layers and they are just wonderful!
Could anyone direct me to a tutorial or tell me how to achieve this? I can't think of how it's possible, but it must be!
Thanks for your help!

That's so cool, how do you get the angled layers? If you don't mind sharing that is.

I love em. I like the coloring effect in them as well. Nice job.

I believe you can get them here I think there is a minimum though http://moldman.com/products.html
They look like a great resource. How much do they run and do you have to use the contact form or call to order? I just didn't see how to order on there anywhere.

I haven't used them yet. I've been ordering from Candle Science. CandleWic does seem to have a lot of options though so I'd like to try them out one of these days. Thanks for your comments on them everyone!

I just picked up these Vibe jars and was doing a search for any wicking info on here.

I just got the little ones for now...didnt realize just how little they would be lol, but they will come in useful for something. They are very light, but the lids are a lot heavier. I also got a sample of the Whisper one as well.
Since this is an older thread, I wondered if anyone had luck wicking any of the different sizes in these jars with 464.
The jars are very cute.
Kathy
Yeah they don't look little in the picture, but I guess you gotta read everything to make sure you know what you're getting these days.

I think testing is the essential key in candle making. No candle is alike because everyone isn't using the exact same combinations. So if you can find the time, I would take the time to test. It'll pay off in the end.

That sounds like a great summer idea.

www.cudge.net is where I got mine at.
They have a great selection and looks like decent prices.

Hey Karen
You can check these gals out http://www.mosh-posh.com/
They sell kits, and I think some add ons and embellishments in their store.. not sure if they have what you're looking for or not but they have a fun site
Thanks for the link, that looks like a really good source!

Great layering effects and colors. How do you get the layers to be angled?
-
I love them. The layering effect on the first candle is great!

This is really cute! Looks good enough to drink Great job!

Thanks for the great ideas on this. I've been wondering about which one to get as well. Lots of choices!

Here is a link I found about it:

The response to that question seems to have some good into in it about how much to use. Good luck and let us know how they turn out!

Excellent coloring in these, great job!
-
Really neat idea, you should do them for the other areas of the military as well. Navy power!

Very nice, this texture would look great in a turquoise as well.

Yes there is! I'm very happy I found this community. It seems to be one of the most active candle making communities I've found.
That whole tutorials section you led me to is great too.
And yes...only so much at a time.
