  1. Yes there is! I'm very happy I found this community. It seems to be one of the most active candle making communities I've found. That whole tutorials section you led me to is great too. And yes...only so much at a time.
  2. That one is cool how the light is actually in the jar. Thanks for the pics!
  3. Looks pretty cool. I'm not familiar with making my own scents yet but I really want to learn and this could really be useful. Thanks!
  4. I've been seeing a lot of candles around with the angeled layers and they are just wonderful! Could anyone direct me to a tutorial or tell me how to achieve this? I can't think of how it's possible, but it must be! Thanks for your help!
  5. That's so cool, how do you get the angled layers? If you don't mind sharing that is.
  6. I love em. I like the coloring effect in them as well. Nice job.
  7. They look like a great resource. How much do they run and do you have to use the contact form or call to order? I just didn't see how to order on there anywhere.
  8. I haven't used them yet. I've been ordering from Candle Science. CandleWic does seem to have a lot of options though so I'd like to try them out one of these days. Thanks for your comments on them everyone!
  9. Yeah they don't look little in the picture, but I guess you gotta read everything to make sure you know what you're getting these days.
  10. I think testing is the essential key in candle making. No candle is alike because everyone isn't using the exact same combinations. So if you can find the time, I would take the time to test. It'll pay off in the end.
  11. They have a great selection and looks like decent prices.
  12. Great layering effects and colors. How do you get the layers to be angled?
  13. I love them. The layering effect on the first candle is great!
  14. This is really cute! Looks good enough to drink Great job!
  15. Thanks for the great ideas on this. I've been wondering about which one to get as well. Lots of choices!
  16. Here is a link I found about it: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Candle-Soap-Making-2579/Essential-Oils-Soy-Wax.htm The response to that question seems to have some good into in it about how much to use. Good luck and let us know how they turn out!
  17. Really neat idea, you should do them for the other areas of the military as well. Navy power!
  18. Very nice, this texture would look great in a turquoise as well.
