  1. Toni,

I've been dye free for a while now. It pleases my customers because they can incorporate the creamy colored candle with all decors. It's also one less variable to test. I recommend a uv stabilizer though because you will get less crystilazation and less fading. It will make a difference with the "dingy, dirty" stuff purebliss is talking about.

BTW, you may notice a slight wicking change. I've wicked down on most fo's

  2. Wow....2 oz FO is ALOT!! I have never used that much FO. The most I have ever used is 1.5 oz.

    tootie

Tootie, I guess you and I are the only ones that noticed that.

RMShelton, I think that's too much fo. Generally 1.5oz pp is max. You mentioned that you are using 2oz for less than a pound. Try backing off the fo a bit; maybe go down to 1oz pp to start with. I think you'll see you will have better hot throw. HTH you out a little.

  3. I know what you mean. My soy went from $58.00 to $80.00!!!!

I feel your pain, Holly. My CB went up 20.00 a case, not to mention my jars went up .40 a piece. :( This may become a hobby for me. It's still cheaper to make these for myself, but I may have to give my biz. :sad2: I live out in the middle of nowhere and shipping is a MAJOR factor as well.

  4. I am interested in soy or palm wax. Something with a good scent throw. I am no longer making candles, but want some good handmade ones. I do not want candles made with Ecosoya PB or the JS blends.

PM me with your website or you can email me pics. If you don't do a second pour I'm not interested either:D

Huh?? I thought soy waxes didn't need a second pour.
