  1. The majority of my FO's come from JS and they are great. I have not tried sweet pumpkin but I do use Frosted Pumpkin in wax and bath and body applications and it is just awesome!

FYI, she recently shut down the forums and fragrance oil review section. But I would suggest signing up for the weekly newsletters so you get the info on the weekly sales and new FO's.

  2. I wouldn't try it either. Have you ever put FO into a plastic Solo cup and saw how it eats that plastic up? I wouldn't even try it diluted in mop water. Just buy some already fragranced floor cleaner and leave it up to the professional chemical companies to leave your floors smelling clean and fresh. :)

  3. Most of the FO's I use are from Just Scent and I find almost all of them to be fantastic both hot and cold in paraffin wax, and a 50/50 blend. I don't use straight soy so I can't comment on that. I wish people would stop judging the oils based on oob smells. You really need to get them into your product before you can actually make a valid comment. And they have great cs and don't forget the free samples that are included in your order. Becky doesn't have to do that but she does. Not many other companies throw in freebies today.

The main thing is, no matter where you purchase your FO's, it's going to be what works for you in your wax and your product after you have done your testing. :)

  4. I've been doing scrapbooking for about 12 years now, before digital scrapbooking came about. I just like the personal touch involved in making a scrapbook page. This is a legacy I will leave my children. That is a 3 D object vs a digital page which is not. And I have fun doing it and figuring out the design, etc. I also made alot of great friends by attending crops at my local scrapbook store. It is a very expensive craft to get into though so beware of that if you are just starting out.

It is alot of fun. Just depends on how much time you want to put into it.

  5. I think you can use it for embossing too. I bought mine at Michael's with their 50% off coupon.

What you got at Michaels was an embossing gun. It's not as hot or direct as a heat gun. The heat gun has a more narrow nozzle for direct heat. Embossing guns are used in cardmaking and scrapbooking which I also do. I have both and the heat gun works better for candlemaking. Too hot for embossing. I got the heat gun at Walmart near the paint dept.

  6. I'd have to say no thanks also. Just another means for the government to control the small business owner or home crafter. And people who buy candles should then be certified on how to burn a candle correctly. That's the big problem.

I think the majority of chandlers test, test, test before putting out a final product anyways so why the need for govt intervention?
