I don't use that wax but when I want rustic I put my mold in the freezer and pour I think around 150.

Do they leak at the seam?? The ones I tried many moons ago did.

Yes - you have to coat them with modge podge. I think I used two coats, but am not sure.

Yesterday I orders some fragrances from Nature Garden and I hope they have a good hot and cold throw - Butt Naked, Monkey Farts and Butterfly Hugs.

I use the HTP 31's and they work great with my soy wax - thanks to a great lady from another board.

I have been asked to make pie candles for the spa that carries my container candles. The lady buys the pie candles from some big company out of state. She sells the pies by the whole or slice. She also sells a metal pie slice shaped container to burn the slices in. I have been searching the internet for days and cannot find these anywhere. I am wanting to put them in my store when I perfect the pies so was wondering if any of ya'll have seen these. I have also seen instructions where you wrap the outside of your pie slice to burn them but I just don't like the idea of that. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Guess I could always ask her where she gets them and I know she will tell me, but I just was hoping some of ya'll would know. I think I have also seen them in ceramic. Hey, if I can find a ceramic mold maybe I can make them...hmmm. Off now to search ceramic molds...

I haven't successfully got the burn right for palm wax either, but I have heard several people say they had luck with the lx wicks. I know a lot that use the rd series, but I tried them and they blew out on me. Never tried anything below a 37 though.
