  1. That's exactly what happened. I think I must slow down and REALLY take my time. I just purchased the C-3. I hope this works. I have a show on Saturday! I will definately be going back to Ecosoy for my spring show. Thanks everybody!
  2. I want to know why I switched too? I was ordering Ecosoy from peak which was fine! However, I ran out and didn't have time to order more and realized that Genwax was just a short drive away! Well needless to say, this soy palm blend is just wwwaaaaayyyyy to much work and doesn't give me the great results I got from the eco. With the ecosoy, after cooling, the candles tops looked as tho' they had been blowing in the wind. Waves or soft ripples on the surface. Can't really describe it. Anyway, my sister told me about the box regulator last nite. I will definately try that one. Thanks everyone! The heat gun has been a life saver! I will switch back and then tester the other formulas that were recommended. What happens to the candle if I am using too much fo?
  3. Thanks, Just returned home with my heat gun!! I hope this works. Ok, I'm using NatureWax C1. I'm using about 2oz of FO per 2 lbs. I melt wax to about 150...I pour @ 100-110. Room temp jars. Am i using too much FO? I don't add any coloring. Am I suppose to mix other waxes into this stuff? No one told me that. I tried adding vybar 103 to this wax and it NEVER melted. It just turned in tiny lil liquid balls. I had to toss a WHOLE POT of wax. I think after this 50lb. is done I may go back to using the ecosoy from peak. Please let me know if I'm missing something here. Thanks for all the help! Soybaby
  4. Hello everybody...I need some serious help. I've switched waxes. Now using a soy wax from Genwax. Anyway, I cannot seem to get a smooth surface on these candles. I've tried everything from allowing the wax to cool longer than usual to pouring at a somewhat higher temp.I've even regulated the room temp. Oh also tried heating the glass jars. Nothing is working. Is it the wax? I had the same problem withthe ecosoy, however it wasn't as bad. I also have to do a double pour and I'd really like to do just 1. Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
