  1. don't panic yet, I'm lookin! lol

I also think you could create your own template, but instead of using the actual label stock to check the accuracy, print on plain paper & hold up to the labels. It has helped me tremendously especially if you have an 'empty' sheet of the labels, you can line these up great.

  2. They actually started this two years ago....I know of a couple of moldmakers who got letters and offered refunds for the molds if you returned them, and of course they quit selling them. I only make them for myself and friends now.....too bad, they were so cute and free advertisement for the peeps people actually!

  3. Yep--well, if you mean smudgeproof, anyways. I used to use the clear labels, and printed them on an inkjet printer. DH would spray them (outside on the porch--the fumes stink!), and they turned out really nice. I used Krylon crystal clear acrylic spray.

I 2nd this, and you can buy a can at wally world in the paint department cheap! (altho, I love the smell of krylon) LOL.....must be candle nose.

  4. Oh......i forgot about the diaper cake, i made one years ago, and it turned out so cute...great idea! The only drawback, I made mine 3 tier and it had receiving blankets and bottles and pins etc etc and it really got expensive, but worth it. I think about that same time, I made "boo boo bunnies" out of baby washclothes, those are fun AND functunal! You can even get those sealed ice cubes (the kind you refreeze over and over) to go in them.

  5. I already posted a picture of the baby bottle (glass candles) somewhere and it won't let me post them again, you could find them in a search I'm sure. If not, pm me your email and I'll send the pic. I also bought 2 different baby bottle silicone candle molds, but I just didn't like them as well. HTH, good luck!

  6. I did this bunny (wax dipped) for a boy shower and changed the ribbon to blue. The baby bottle candles are are big hit (tie blue curly ribbon around the cap lids and be sure to put a warning label to leave cap off when candle is burning!). Baby bottle caps with nipple tart melts are cute.......also not candle related, but i love to make baby "keepsake" books.

  7. Hi Meg,

It's a soft blue one. I can't remember where I got it, I have alot. The way it is ripped the rubber bands don't help, and glue melts. But thanks! I do hate to lose this one! Full size apple. By the way, my wax is suppose to come in today. Can't wait! Yea!

I have many hundreds of molds, alot with rips. The rubber bands don't necessarily have to completely close the mold, as long as they hold it CLOSE, the silicone is usually pretty forgiving and you can usually get good pours even from ripped molds. You might want to try to get a good piece from it, and find a moldmaker to make you another mold from that piece....in the event it splits so far that your wax leaks out. Another suggestion, just in CASE it IS split TOO far.......be sure to put it ON something when you pour (an old cookie sheet, piece of aluminum foil with the edges curled up or something like that - ask me how I know this) lol

  8. I market them as car fresheners, drawer sachets, also to use in RV's, gym lockers & closets. Other uses I have found from customer feedback are to hang them inside diaper pails and waste baskets and in the winter months they have placed them in with their furnace filters.

Ok, stupid question I'm sure.....but how do you put them in your furnace filter?! My filter is one of those store bought thingys that slide into a slot........please enlighten me as the idea sounds interesting!
