  1. This time of year, we are doing alot of fundraisers too....we always give 50% of sales. Yes, your own overall profit may not be as much, but you also have to consider that you are getting your name out there...and thats great advertising. We've always had "after fundraiser sales" and those are sales we would never have had. :smiley2:

  2. We got the same letter as well. I tracked his address to a phone number 320-235-0932 But there hasn't been an answer. When I do find this guy, he'll wish he'd never crossed paths with me. The address he gave was 312 9th st. NW Willmar MN 56201

  3. We sell our replacement votives for $1.25. Most stores in the area that sell votives are asking the same. While our votives are soy, we still wouldn't get many sold if we were to ask upwards of $2. At $1.25, we sell quite a few....it's better to make profit on volume than individual, IMO.

  4. For the spring time shows we're bringing 30 scents, 6 each of our 10 ounce, 2 of our 16 ounce and 3 of our 5 ounce. We'll also do 4 each of our 2.5 ounce votives and 6 each individual melts. Total of roughly 330 containers. We usually sell 80-90% of what we bring, especially to one particular show we do....and we do both a spring and fall shows at the same venue.

  5. UPDATE: I went out and bought Print Artist 23...the only Broderbund softwrare (so far) designed/compatible for Windows 7. So far...I like it very much....user friendly, and tons of features. Just thought I'd share for those wondering which program to use next for label design. Btw....23 allows importing of many formats, but not .zdl (avery format)...however it has many Avery label templates included.

  6. Just a heads up to those using Avery Design Pro 5.4 and Windows 7....Avery does not support Windows 7...and it will eventually crash. Trust me...it will. I reinstalled the program 5 times, and after restarting my computer, the program won't even open up. I called Avery, and the tech support said they haven't even tested it with Windows 7 yet....and there's nothing they can for me. Gee...thanks Avery!
