  1. I used the recipe this past weekend and didn't have any problems with it at all. It did take a couple of extra days in the mold to get firm enough to cut. It was my first experience with whipped soap but I think it turned out pretty good.

Thanks for sharing your recipe Brenda

  2. Scented with BCN Purely Herbal. Swirled with orange and green oxide.

It got too thick on me to fast so my swirls didn't work out very good. I think maybe I let the oils get too cool. Not sure but it does smell good.

It's been so long since I've had the time to make soap. Thanks for taking a look. :rolleyes2

Got new batteries in the camera so here's the cut picture.

  3. Scented with SW BRV - Yummy!! I love this fragrance.

Two color swirl with Burgandy and Black Oxide. Bottom layer is colored with Burgandy oxide. Crossing my fingers that the swirls aren't just sitting on top.

Thanks for letting me share. :rolleyes2

I'm a little disappointed my swirls are just sitting on the top. I'm going to have to make another batch and try to get them all the way through. ;)

  4. :bliss: What a fabulous layered bar! Fantastic! And I know for a fact your bar smells great because I just got some of that FO. Loverly to the max! Colors are beautiful. :)

SW YJG is a fabulous scent!! I've used it several times and the fragrance stays strong in my soaps. Thanks for the thumbs up Brenda! :rolleyes2 You are the goddess of beautiful soaps!!

  5. Absolutely gorgeous!!! You follow directions well! Did you scent all 3 layres?

Yes, all layers are scented. The two outside layers are colored with Burgandy Oxide and the middle layered is colored with Lemon Yellow Select Shades. The whole process went very smooth and I'm really happy with the result. Now if I could only learn to cut the bars evenly. Anyone have a tutorial for cutting consistantly sized bars? LOL!! :rolleyes2
