  1. I was doing a show one time were the scentsy was accross the room from me. Well I went over there to check out her tarts. Well she had 2 tart warmers going both with the same scent. She used a whole pack in both warmers and man did it stink. It stunk so bad the crafters were getting a headache from it. Well the crafters got the people who were runing the show to get her to shut them off. It was funny cause while I was standing there she asked me If mine were made by me. I told her yes and she tells me I don't like handmade tarts there not as good as scentsy's Well I turned and told her my warmer is still going what happened to yours. Needless to say I sold way more than she did. I think she only sold two packs plus she ended up the talk of the show cause her tarts stunk so bad. :yay:

You know, with this gal who had her 8 warmers going. same scent, wasn't even Christmas related scent, I can't describe their scent but it was icky.

Customers were saying I smell Christmas Tree scent and lady rep said no I don't have them, then they turned and saw my booth loaded with tarts. The one they smelled was FOH Mistletoes kisses. Love that scent!! but even with 8 warmers, it didn't knock your socks off. I'd be embarrassed to run 8 warmers and not have that "in your face" scent going.

  2. Well let me tell you my experience here. Last weekend, I had my first craft show and Scenty was right across from me. She had 8 warmers plugged in

and it all had the tarts in it. I could NOT smell anything from there. I was like "huh" you'd think I'd be knocked back from the smell. Nothing, nadda.

Others who were checking out their melts and warmers, they said they can smell Christmas Tree somewhere, Well it was mine, my tarts and it's not even in a warmer!!! LOL I had tons of tarts in a big wooden bowl on my table.

Amazing how some can smell my tarts from across the isle. I sold quite a few melts that day. They didn't like Scenty. Turns out Lady only sold 4 packs of tarts and no warmers, while I sold alot of my melts. Made me Smile!!

They're not what they seem to be. All the hype about it, turns out to be joke.

now they do have cute warmers though.

  3. If it to good to be true, run and run far away!!!

Those are oversea scams, we all get them in emails and they always want to send you extra $$ to forward to someone else and give you extra for your time etc. It's fraudulent CC and Money order, and want to know the real deal? They just need a way to get money, they'd never come pick up or want the products.

I one time, was selling a 64 inches Projection TV on Craigslist, I got the same kind of email, Money deal, their shipper to pick up, to go to AFRICA. I'm like, oh ok, you want to send over a 400 lb old TV

to Africa??? Anyhow, I deleted it, I didn't bother to email him back.

so, basically, if you get this gut feeling that it's to good to be true,

DELETE IT and RUN from it!

  4. Thanks--I was hoping I could do it that way because I doubt that I would think of it enough in advance for it to thaw!!

I couldn't wait to cut and use a bar this morning and it felt absolutely fantastic with wonderful lather! I've loved SFIC's goat's milk soap, but this was the first time I've added my own goat's milk to plain base and it's even better.

I'm so excited about using this milk. I would have preferred getting the powdered form and not having to bother with freezing, but couldn't find it and now I wonder if it would work as well.

    Thanks again for your replies.

    Jane

I never seen powdered goat milk locally, but I did use buttermilk powder kind and it clumped up on me. LOL so I tossed that idea. Stayed with my goat milk in can, free it in ice tray and use it when needed.

    makes my life easier.

  5. Hi

I went to your site, I couldn't help but think that you're already making stuff and asking tons of questions here and already selling??????????

We all test our products for years and pour tons of money before even attempting to sell!!

I'm sorry but I couldn't help notice all your posts here and you ask alot of questions and honestly don't think you know what you're doing, especially selling online already???

Do you have insurance?? for customers ???

    Lord help ya! :tiptoe:

Now as for fonts girls!!! he brought me Cricut design studio CD, It has usb cord to hook to your cricut to your computer.

It has over 10 fonts settings (it says on box, no more spending extra dollars on cartridges when you have it all on the CD!! That cost 69.99 :)

what's neat about the CD is that on the box, it says "What you see is what you cut!! I like that!!

Check it out, I am using mine to make stencils and vinyl rub on for my walls

  7. I think it'd be cute to make reindeer (raisin shape) poo and put in cello bag

and if you can get the scrap booking supplies, there is a reindeer stamp

with a hole you cut out where belly area is and put the cello bag inside it. got the cute reindeer poop poem on it.

that would be a huge seller. just make sure they know it's not ediable LOL

I usually do this with marshmallow (for the snowman poop) and raisin (real ones)
