Anyone try these in C-3? I test burned both after one-week cure at 1oz per lb. Love them, just wish they were stronger. I know they have great reviews with the GL 70/30. Meltpool was not the problem. Just want to know what someone else thinks about these in C-3. I have tried the NG dupes before but like GL's scent better. Anyone tried these dupes (Havana & Mediterranean) from other fragrance manufacturers?
:smiley2: Thanks, for your input.:smiley2:

If you add a little vanilla to the grapefruit it helps eliminate the fuel smell.

Hi Vicky, thank you for your input on the coogar melter. I was leaning towards the coogar, and have decided to purchase one
within the next couple of weeks.
Can not wait to try it.

Hello everyone. Did my research on wax melters. Narrowed it down to (2) from which to pick from. Need your input please.
1) Coogar CS Melter- 25 gallon capacity $925
good reviews here.
2) Candle Science-Stainless Steel 65lb Air jacketed, (no need to
fill with water) Dual zone heating control. Heated Spout
No reviews on this one yet. $799
I currently own a water jacketed 50 lb round. Have had it
for approx. 7 years with no problems.
Would like to hear your opinions please, and thank you.:smiley2:

Interesting feedback on this subject. I'm 5'4, my next pouring table I will try the 32" height. I pour 5lbs at a time so maybe shorter height will be less strain on back. I'm also thinking of buying fatigue mats to stand on.
Thanks to all for your input on this subject. :)

Hi, I was just wondering what height your tables are that you use for pouring? Mine are 36 inches high.
I always wondered what would be a comfortable height. I guess it would depend on the height of the individual pouring! What are your thoughts on this?

May I have a copy of the spreadsheet also, Please.

I also use 1 oz. per lb, some oils I use 3/4 oz.

Try Riekes, which is a distributer for Libby Glass. They have a great assortment of glassware. If you can't find a number for CA, call this number in Dallas, TX and they can help you. 214-638-9091.

I also use C-3. You just have to test each fragrance for throw and for best wick. What smells good oob might not have a good throw. Same with wicks. You might get away with using 2 to 3 different wicks for your line if your lucky!

Hi, I currently use Sea Island Grapefruit from flickers. I mix mine half & half with vanilla and call it Grapefruit Vanilla. I highly recommend it. I use Cargil C-3. Has great H & C Throw.

Try: Peppercorn BCN, and BCS. I loved the oob peppercorn from BCN, but did not throw to strong in my soy.
I just got a sample in today from BCS, which I will be trying soon.

Hi, try rainbowmeadow.com. Has great EO blending info.

I'm in love with Bohemia from Daystar. Good cold and hot throw after curing a few days in pure soy.

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of making gift baskets for both jar and tin candles. These would be for high end clientel. Anyone know where I can purchase some baskets or any other containers wholesale? Preferably made in the good old USA. That might be a problem since most are made in china. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I just saw it on GL's new website.:smiley2:

Do you currently have a vanilla and a black currant fo in your stock? Try mixing it yourself, try half & half and take it from there. You can adjust the ratio to suit your taste or should I say smell.
