  1. Here's the newest jewelry creations from me!

    PileofGlitterHeartsSmall.jpg

    I made 16 different colors:

Each heart was handmade by me. They are super glittery and glossy! I wish I could capture that in the pictures! They measure approximately 1 1/4" wide, and 1 5/16" tall. Strung on silver plated chain with a lobster claw clasp.

I would love to know what you guys think!

  2. OH I LOVE THEM lol... could you guess I would!!! I absolutly love the necklace!!! I love pink brown and aqua .. I think you must have made that one for me lol!

Hehe... Glad you like them! I've had so much fun playing around with color combinations; but this is by far one of my top 3!

  3. I just wanted to share what I've been up to lately!

I just recently started making Mini Fairy Lantern Jewelry:

These are some of the main colors that I use!

Here is a necklace using one of my new favorite color combinations!

    CustomFairyLanternAnkletSmaller.jpg

This is a custom ankle bracelet I made for a very sweet girl in the UK; she was really fun to work with!

I think these look just like tiny little fairy lanterns! I can easily imagine them strung along some flowers at a fairy party in the forest!

The fairy lanterns are right at 1/2" tall from the top of the wire wrapped loop, to the bottom of the head pin. See? A very tiny treasure! :D

I hope you guys enjoy them, too!

  4. I haven't posted here in a while!

Here's some of my Valentine's Day goodies!

    ValentinesDayCookieNecklaces.jpg

Nope, they're not real cookies! lol

Each sweet little cookie charm is handmade from polymer clay and measures right at 1" tall. All have been hand decorated with icing, sprinkles, and glitter! No molds; no paint. All cookie charms are strung on matching ribbon with silver findings. Zero calories, too!

A result of my obsession with Valentine's day, and my efforts to not eat too many real sweets! lol

I just wanted to share something new with you guys!

    Bag.jpg

A little 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" beaded bag/necklace!! I used light pink size 6/0 seed beads for the little bag. I made the fringe and strap using many different kinds of beads - cat's eye, Swarovski, pearls, glass beads, more seed beads... It was fun picking out all those pink beads! I also used some rhinestones and a few Cinderella themed charms.

I plan on doing these for Christmas and birthday presents! (Themed to fit the recipient, of course!) I'm going to tuck one of my mini scented magnets inside each one!

I would love to know what you guys think!

  6. Hi there!

Here's a good place to get some simple starter kits:

    http://www.eebeads.com/_kits.htm

I started out ordering from them because they have mainly just the basic beads, findings, and supplies. Then, as you decide what kind of jewelry you most enjoy making, you can shop from the more specialized sites, or even your local bead store! (Although they can be rather expensive!)

Here's another site that has more advanced kits, a few simple stringing kits and even some stringing kits that require you do a small bit of the seed bead stitches:

    http://www.lindarichmond.com/Learn_To_Bead.html

Also, you might want to go to your local book store, or really anywhere that has a good variety of magazines, and get the Stringing Magazine. It is full of simple (yet very cool!) stringing projects. They also list where to get the beads and supplies used!

    I hope this helps! :yay:

  7. Oh my gosh... He is so cute! I actually giggled out loud when I saw him. I love those eyes - I think they add to his adorableness!! :grin2: I think he looks like a... Mr. Peeps (not the candy!), or a Mr. Peepers... Something that incorporates the word 'peep' - because I just love that word. I associate it with all things little and cute. :grin2:

  8. I've been searching around on their site and here at the CT boards, but I can't seem to find this bit of information. Is their Lip Balm Base white or more of a yellow color? I'm trying to figure out if I should also buy some sort of colorant to add to it. I would rather find a lip balm base that is more of a white color and then not have to add any color, since I want to add some glitters to it and I'm not sure that it would look very good with a base that is more on the yellow side. Does anyone have a picture of what the BCN base looks like? Is there one out there that is more on the white side?

    Thanks for your help! :grin2:

  9. Oh I love beaded flowers! I use those for gifts at Mother's Day!

For Christmas this year I'm doing a lot of polymer clay gingerbread things. Some little gingerbread house charms, gingerbread men (and women!) cookie earrings; all scented in gingerbread of course! Also some little mugs of hot cocoa with marshmallows, Christmas ornament earrings - all polymer clay.

I've got several more things in the works, too!
