    I and my girlfriend are just starting to make candles. I would like to make soy . I am 56 years and like to walk and play golf. I also attend unity church. my girlfriend is a teacher at the college level. We both love jazz and melow things such as candles and hope to sell a few as we get better at making them.

  1. thank you stella, I think I have found a supplier here in memphis. I looked up resturant supplies and found some good prices on 8oz tumblers.
  2. thank you for your insight, I believe I am getting ahead of myself. I will see how the ones I have made turn out with the different wicks I used.
  3. I am new to this and am trying to find the right wax. what are the advantages of using a soy blend instead of say c3.I have heard the goldenbrands 444 is a good blend. I used c3 to pour my first candles which I am waiting to cure but would like to make the best candles. thank you for the help
  4. I guess the question I asked is pretty lame now that I read more about wicks, and candles in general.

  6. I want to blend c3 and IGI4630 harmony blend 70/30. using 3" by 2 1/2" round shot containers.My questions are would this be a good combo? What type of wick would be best,and how long should I let it cure.thank you P/s I will use one oz. fo. and very little color.
