I am not sure of my lot number right now (would have to look when I get home) but I haven't had any issues with the wax. My frosting issues result from the way it is cooling I believe. I am one of the people who had the "soapy" wax from a bad batch and there is a big difference in what I have now versus that. I hope your issues get resolved!

I also use the 6% with this FO and haven't had any problems with it.

Thank you everyone! I use washed jars so I don't think that is it. Maybe I should just double wash
I ended up trying to remelt some but just got too tired trying to keep up with it. I think I will just let it be and take your suggestion to just explain it to customers that it is a property of the wax.

I am busy making candles for craft shows (probably like a lot of you!). I have been in the same house for a year, poured them the same way in the same location, and have been fine. I use C3 wax and don't add anything except dye and fragrance.
I looked this morning at the ones I made a couple of weeks ago and most of them have side frosting! I looked at these same candles a few days ago and they were fine. They are stored in a closet that remains pretty close to a constant temp (it sits near the thermostat).
I am at a total loss and just ready to pull my hair out! I don't know if people will care or not but some of them have about 1/2 to 3/4 of the sides with the frosting. I don't have the time to make them again.
HELP!!!!!
Thanks so much for listening and any advice you can provide!

That stinks! I am not sure why one size would do that either. I did an indoor craft fair once where they turned the heat off at night. When I came in the next morning, most of my candles had frosted! I was so upset about it - people still bought them so maybe they didn't care but I am really sensitive to it.
Good luck with the labelling!

I also vote for #5!

This gives me inspiration to keep trying to make pillars like this. They look amazing!

Did you end up using buyabarcode.com to get your codes? I am in a similar situation and wanted to see how this worked out for you. Did you just print the codes on labels and put them on your products? TIA!!

We offer all of the forms for free and give extra copies if they need it (they are in color and some orgs don't have access to a color copier).
We have only done one FR that was out of town but the org wanted us to raise the price of each candle a little and say that the price included shipping. It was a small group so it worked out to approx. what shipping would have been and we shipped each order to the actual person. If you shipped it to the actual org, I would think it was their responsibility to make sure it was packaged correctly to ship to a person. Maybe you could include some notes/instructions about how to wrap the candles?
For local orders, we have both broken out the orders by customer and just left the candles in boxes by scent - it just depends on what the org wants and how large the group is.
HTH!

I absolutely love your shop! I am completely jealous as well but it gives me hope that I can have my own someday. Best of luck!!!

We use the cart provided by Auctioninc. I think it is $20 a quarter. It integrates with PayPal.

I also never had a difference in flame size when I had the bad C-3 boxes. I am with Brenda - the new stuff has been fine and I have no intention on switching. I also had the actual lot stamped on the box and the label was the same except for saying Elevance.
Good luck!

I use a wine pourer to pour the wine into the measuring cup. It works pretty well - just make sure you firmly push the pourer down so no oil leaks out under the seal.

Did you make this from soy? It looks amazing! I hope they are big sellers for you!

I had also experienced the issues with C3 but now that I have the new boxes, I haven't had any issues and my candles are back to normal. I definitely recommend this wax!

I don't think it is too dark at all - I find the overall look to be very elegant. Congrats on a great label!!
-
I actually thought the same thing about the butterfly/moth. I like the soothing feel of the label though - I wish I could do that in Photoshop!

I heard them talking of the possibility of dropping Tuesday delivery as an alternative to Saturday but it has been a couple of weeks so that could have changed.
-
When this happens to me, I use my heat gun to zap the tops and then they are usually fine!
-
Ditto what blt212 said - I also had a great interaction with Elevance (Michelle was wonderful) and they replaced my boxes. I am excited to start making some more candles!

I have been corresponding with Michelle and hopefully there will be a resolution soon!

I agree about the church thing - sorry!

I actually use their liquid dyes in C3 and love them! I haven't had a problem with any of it and would definitely recommend them to you. HTH!

I left them a message about my boxes to see how to proceed or if they want me to send a sample in as well. If they don't do anything, I will definitely try heat gunning the wax - thanks for the tip!
How much do you sell at craft shows?

It is hard to give a specific number - I have sold hundreds at small shows and next to nothing at the huge shows. It just depends on what people want on a given day. You could look at the total you have sold over the total number of hours you have been at shows and try to take the average as a starting place for planning. HTH!
