I love the zone idea and the 10 day period. Have you been successful in doing it this way?

Candybee, I see your point but I'm a lot like CSAS (chicken) BUT I have a baby at home, I work another job, hubby works Saturday's, Sunday is my Church day (Sunday School teacher and projectionist) and I'm busy with that. I'm just a busy, busy person on top of a chicken. I really do feel that in person is best. It's just finding the time, (sigh). I would only want to give them a 30 day limit or somewhere along those lines so that I could move on if they weren't interested. What if I nailed two accounts in the same town? They probably wouldn't be very happy. I live amongst small towns. When I say "large" towns I am talking 1000 population. lol!!
Thx for your help!

I am wanting to start sending out wholesale packets along with a sample candle. I am going to look at the biggest and nicest gift stores in each large town. I want to add something in my wholesale packet that basically gives them a 30 day period before I move on to another prospect in that town. I'm not going to send them out to numerous gift stores so that if the first one I send too wont have competition if someone else wants them also. (wishful thinking) I don't want to sound rude of course so how could I word that I am giving them 30 days to decide??? Has anyone ever done this or is it too nervy???
TIA!

I have this scent from Jody's Soap & Creations. Those that have the scent from A&F say it does not smell like what they have. If you want a sniffy I can send it so you can smell before you order. I didn't see it anywhere else.
That is sooooooo sweet of you. I would love a sniffy.

Has anybody used one to die for and if so, where did you find it?

Sulphur is in south central Oklahoma. If you've heard of the Arbuckle Mountains, it is about 12 miles from there. Go through Davis, (exit 51 off I35). She is between Sulphur and Davis on the right hand side.

I just wanted you to let you know that there is a place in Sulphur,OK called Grady's Sale Barn that just got a large shipment of glassware. One brand is Libbey. I went in to her shop last week and purchased some 16 oz. apothecary jars with lids for 1.00 each. I also bought some Libbey 7 3/4 oz frosted tumblers for 48 cents each.
Hope this helps some of you.

I have looked on the website of the place I bought some of these molds at but it doesn't say how to get the embeds out of the mold once they are ready. Do I grease the plastic molds before I pour my wax? or not??? I haven't found any instructions to make the embeds at all. HELPPPP!!!
Thanks so much,

Has anybody seen these around?? I have a prospect interested in putting my candles in his gift shop at a drive thru safari but he is wanting something in animal shapes if possible. I think I have seen a bear, but not too sure where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I put it in a fairly large container so I have a ways to go before I get to the end! I got a pm from warmvanilla saying that wsp has the wick sustainers for them but they are out of stock so maybe I will try one with that after this one burns out!
Dumb question here, but who is WSP???

Used to buy this candle from a lady about 30 miles away as it is my absolute favorite scent out there but now that I'm making them I bought this from LS and I'm just not happy with the throw. I used 10% and I can hardly smell it. Anybody know of a good supplier for this one? I want a knock-your-socks-off good strong throw!
TIA,

Sounds good Murray and thanks for all your help.

Well, I don't NEED that much FO per se but the IGI website says it will hold that much (10%) so I figured since I want a awesome hot throw, use the max. I can see though on the heavier scents, that I don't need to do that. My leather scent is the worst. Chocolate Covered Cherries started drowning out about halfway and then perked back up. Now burning perfect. I know one thing.... these candles can really make you scratch your head!!

I have had the same issue once in awhile.......makes me crazy too....one of my vanilas will turn a funky shade of lavender nce in awhile:o but never in the lavender vanila scented candle lol that would be helpful!!!
ROFL.....yep that would be tooooo easy.

From what I've read in several different places.... always repour at a higher temp than your first pour.
