I agree with the vybar, that may correct all your issues. I would also look at the dye as the cause. Liquid dyes are sometimes diluted with cheap cutting agents making them produce the same effect. For black coloring i would try powder dye.

Hello, You will have to use more color in the J223 wax as it has more additives in it. The votive blend has a transparent quality to it where as the container blend (j223) has an opaque quality.

Zen cart is awesome. With very little html and sql knowledge you can make it do just about anything you want.

Most important thing you need to do if you use Zen Cart is install the updates. They are pretty good at issuing updates. When a problem comes up they are quick to find a solution and the help forum there is wonderful.

Seems everyone likes the liquid coloring. What does everyone else pay for their liquid coloring? I have got from candlewic, those were pretty good and so was candlechem. Had some from candlerock was not happy at all with them. The dye seemed to separate the colors were strong but when all the liquid was gone all you had was a gooey mess in the bottle.

So what does everyone use? Liquids, Powders, Dye blocks or Dye chips? I use mostly powders and sometimes liquids.

Powders are great but you need a very accurate scale and are sometimes messy.

The liquids are about as messy as powder dye but as long as you have a GOOD cap you shouldn't have any problems.

Dye chips are conveinent as you can just toss a chip in or so per pound.

Dye blocks are very easy also but you can get covered in dye as you hold it to take slivers off. You can get about any color you want but results are often hard to replicate.

What is your favorite way to color?

They were manufactured by Pourette. I have a picture of a woman named Thanh Lam pouring the dye chips and a picture of a guy soldering the molds. It was in a news article that I came across.

You might try Open office.org a FREE program that has templates for labels. Get one of those 20.00 printers on sale for labels and uline.com has the bulk white labels cheap. Hope it helps...

I got one from Candlechem about a while ago. Good quality, price was about 15.00.
