I found 100% Soy pillar candles can't take the heat and just end up collapsing half way down into a mess
I have brought some off another candlemaker and they did collapse and make a mess
For this reason I am not even going to attempt a 100% soy pillar

I spend at least £700 a month on materials
But I enjoy making them

I have used before 44-24-18z and these have been perfect

I personally like Janet at www.creativegemsmolds.com. She's wonderful to work with, her prices are great and she has made several special molds for me!
Me too and Flexible molds
The other companies I have used have been poor quality
-
I have used the molds with the rubber bands and they are fine, the wax doesnt spill or anything
Some of the molds that don't have bands are so thin and rip
-
They look great
I must start doing my chunk pillars again

I must start doing my chunk pillars again

How about double wicking it?
I have never found a wick that burns good in a heart candle
They either burn and leave 1/2" gap as your pic, or drip over and make a mess

I saw some on Ebay a while ago

The corrugate molds are fab, they mask any flaws your candle may have
-
