Do you find that the 464 is to soft for molds and shapes?. I would like to make some in molds but not to sure if it works.
464 only works for shot cups It wont work in clamshells either it's to soft of a wax

Do you typically use the same percentage of F.O. in your melts and tarts as you do your candles or do you find that you end up using more/less?
Thanks!
I use more about 2 oz per pound in my melts

I'm looking for a good lemon scent one that doesn't have that chemical/fuel smell. I'm also looking for a good line, orange and grapefruit Thanks

It probably was the FO, not anything you did wrong. I haven't tried that particular FO in incense, but there are some that just smell like smoke when lit. And some other that give off a chemical smell nothing like the FO. I test incense same as candles, cause you just never know.
Are you using regular punks? Or charcoal? If you like to let them soak, that's fine, but for regular punks 15 minutes is more than enough. For charcoal I dip and dry. The sticks are super thin and it doesn't take long at all for them to get saturated with the mixture. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong by soaking them, that's just a tip that has saved me oodles of time. 😉
I'm using the regular punks. I will try a different FO and see what happens. I will also soak them less. Thanks

ok so I made a batch of incense sticks. Let sit for 24 hours and let dry for 2 days. I used a 50/50 mix of Dpg and fragrance oil. Well I burnt one today and got lots of smoke and zero scent. I used CS coconut fragrance oil. What did I do wrong.

You can make them using a light carrier oil like mineral oil or fractionated coconut oil, or DPG. DPG / dipropylene glycol is what is in vape juice.
Thanks so much

I would like to make some warmer oils but for the life of me I cant find any info on how to make them. What do you use to mix your fo or eo with to make them.

Changed my mind about making melts with this wax cause they dont sell it anymore. I'm going to use it for firestarters instead

Update I got my wax and tried it in regular melts and squeezable melts. The cold throw is great and after I let them sit a week the hot throw is also great. NG says to use an ounce per pound but to get a great ht I use 1.5 oz. Per pound with no seepage also I didnt have to do a repour like their website says. All in all I'm loving this wax

Anyone see the new jelly belly scented melts at walmart. I wish I could find FO's like that

I buy my sticks I dont use charcoal ones. I let them soak for 24 hours then I lay them flat to dry. I also use 16 oz bottles to store my extra liquid.

How many of you offer the portion cups? 1, 2, 3 ounces?
Toying with the idea of going back to them after several years of wax brittle and clam shells... just to offer something "different".
What would be a decent price for a 2 oz.portion cup?
TIA
I use portion cups as samples If they like the samples then they can buy the clamshells

I’ve stumbled on these by Yankee and Nest. Yank doesn’t give a time but Nest says they last up to 30 days.
Has anyone tried them? Or know how they’re made? Might be too new to the market to know just yet.
I don’t think I’d want to get in that market if they only last 30 days. Just curious about them. There’s only a few reviews out on them so far.

I bet there made on the lines of incense. Soak the sticks and let them dry real good before using

I love Pillar of Bliss, it's been a great performer for me. I've never had any seeping issues or cracking issues (which totally sucks!) like @Lizzy but these things can happen depending on the season, your climate as well as shipping address (not to mention time in transit). I think you'll be pleased with it's performance. It's like having the best of both soy and paraffin!
Thanks I cant wait to try it

For melts you won't need a repour. It's a good para soy blend that I, personally, prefer over RE's. I did have cracking issues in cold weather.
Thanks I think I will order a sample bag and see how it goes
