  1. The last 2 times I have ordered, there was no packing at all and no tape around the tops. One of them had leaked a little, not in a ziplock bag or nothing, just the bottles of oils. I've spent a lot of money there and although she does have really fast shipping, she never seems very friendly to me... but I do like quite a few of here oils. Hugs Michele
  2. Hi, I bought them off the classies a short time ago and there is at least 100 samples but I don't think they are all new samples and I had no clue about a heart...thanks much!! I'm gonna check that out now!! Thankyou again! Have a Blessed New Year Hugs Michele
  3. Hi all! Ok, this is probably a really dumb question but I bought a bunch of samples from JS and it doesn't say on the bottles whether they are skin safe or not...how ya supposed to know? Thanks so much and have a Blessed night! Hugs Michele
  4. Hi, I have been buying from Bert for over 2 1/2 years, she was the first person I bought oils from when I started. I have at least 70-80 of her oils and they are awesome! As one of the girls said, you won't find a nicer person and she has fast shipping too! I love her!! HTH Hugs! Michele
  5. Hi Just wondering if anyone orders from here? Seems like someone had mentioned they had a good cinnamon bun. Does anyone know any others that might be good ones.. Thanks Hugs! Michele
  6. Boy, I only wished I lived close enough to take those classes! Thanks for the reply...anyone else have them and have any thoughts? Hugs Michele
  7. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has ever ordered either one of these dvd's from candles and supplies, making grubby candles($39.95) or bakery & fun food candles($39.95)? I kinda know a little about making grubbies, the dipping and rolling in spices, I have done alot of tapers and votives. I would like to learn how to make bakery ones. Just didn't know if they were worth the money, seems like kinda alot, unless they were really nice videos. Hopefully someone can help me out. I've googled how to make bakery candles and just don't seem to find much. Thankyou so much for any help! Hugs! Michele
  8. Hi, I called and they did fix it! It was just a mistake and they were very decent about it! Thanks so much for the input! Have a super Blessed day! Hugs! Michele
  9. Hi, I'm with meredean on this one, I haven't been able to find a good one in my gb415 either, I tried ng's but it didn't do much for me...I might have to try candlewic's tho, never tryed any of their oils. And I love sugar cookie, it's a fav but just no luck with it!! Hugs Michele
  10. Hi, Thank you all for the help!! Much appreciated!! Hugs! Michele
  11. Hi, Yes, I made sure to call and get a shipping quote because I thought it would be more accurate than the shopping cart. The wax is only like 4-5 hours away from me so that is why it it probably seems like not that much. I did order 2 bags of 100 wicks but she said they would be able to just put them inside the wax boxes to save me more shipping. I had them shipped to a commercial business to save on shipping...wow, not much savings there! They are supposed to be delivered today so guess I will see what the deal is. I hate calling and complaining but that just kinda ticks me off so guess I'm gonna have to. Thanks for the thoughts, at least I know I'm not being a jerk about it! Hugs! Michele
  12. Hi, Just a quick question! I ordered 500# of wax, before I ordered, I asked if I could get a price for shipping because if I wasn't gonna save quite a bit, it wouldn't be worth it. I got a quote of $94. Today I got my confirmation and was charged 132.00 for shipping. Would you be kinda ticked off? TIA Hugs! Michele
  13. Hi, There is nothing at all wrong with the name except there is a girl that has started making candles and is always snooping around and then gets the same oils as me...so I just thought if I changed the name, it would be a little tougher to find out my scents...I know, sounds kinda dumb but it just irritates me! Thanks for any help, I'm so rotten at thinking of new names. Hugs! Michele
  14. I was hoping someone could help me out with finding some widemouth black old tyme lids. Fillmore don't have them anymore and so far candlesoylutions and bcn are the only place I can find them but didn't really want to pay $1 a piece...does anyone know of any other suppliers? Thankyou all so much, I love this board! Thankyou all for your knowledge and help. Have a blessed day! Hugs! Michele
  15. Someone has to answer me...pretty please? Michele
  16. Hi! I was just wondering how many Christmas scents ya all have? I was going thru my oils last night and I knew I had quite a few but 27 Christmas scents. That's a little bit much! Was hoping there were others as bad as me! Thanks for the input! Hugs! Michele
  17. That's what I always thought too so I was thinking that it was kinda weird that he would tell me that since they make candles too...I looked on their website thinking maybe I got something goofed up but that's what their directions say for soy wax. Just wanted some others who have made candles...thoughts! Thanks all! Hugs! Michele
  18. Hi, I was just reading some other posts and remembered a couple years ago when I was starting to make candles, Loren (CS) told me to add my fragrance oil to the wax at a low temp, can't member the exact temp without going thru all my notes but it seems like it was 110 degrees, he said that if you add it at to high of a temp that all your scent would burn off and it won't throw good. Does anyone else think this is true? Just curious! Thanks! Hugs Michele
  19. Hi! Could anyone give me any suggestions for a new name for this? I'm so bad at thinking of a differnet name. I love this scent, it has a awesome ht and ct..thanks for any help! Hugs! Michele
  20. Hi, I have been using Berts oils for about 2 1/2 years and I know I have at least 80 of her oils, out of all those, I think I've probably only had a handful that didn't throw all that well. I use gb415. She is a super person to deal with and ships fast! She used to just sell on ebay but has her own site now. Her oils are wonderful! HTH Hugs! Michele
  21. I did get it cleaned up after a bit, I decided to just let it harden and then scraped it all off, probably the only smart thing I did cause clean up was pretty easy. I thought about grabbing the paper towel roll but figured that would be even a bigger mess...I called my hubby down and he just stood there looking at me, I think he was in awe of how very intelligent his wife really is...not!!!!! But sure is nice to know I wasn't the only one, I thought for sure I'd be the first! Hugs! Michele
  22. You have no idea how much happier i am just knowing i'm not the only one to have pulled something like this off!! I feel much better now!! Thanks for making me feel a little better!!! Hugs Michele
  23. Hi all!! Ok, I can't believe what I did tonite!! Heated my wax in presto and put my pyrex pitcher under the spigot, open it up to pour out the wax...look over at my counter and has a bunch of junk on it so thought I would clean it off quick so I can put my candles there after done pouring...scraping off all the wax on my counter top, moving some of the candles already poured closer so ya can get more on the counter..lalalalalal...hear some kind of trickling noise...holy crap, forgot I'm filling my pitcher with wax, my whole counter top, all over the floor running down the back of the wall, you name it and got wax there!!!! Man oh man...I'm thinking I'm probably the only one that's ever pulled that one!!! Simple minds are easily distracted I guess...Wow!! Am I really the only one to do this?? Hugs! Michele
  24. Hi, I'm was just wondering if anyone uses glass pyrex pitchers for pouring their candles? Does glass hold heat longer than the metal pouring pitchers? The pyrex ones I use hold about 4# of wax which I think is the same as the metal ones, right?? TIA Hugs! Michele
  25. Hi... Don't seem like anyone has much to say about this company and have never ordered from there but seems like they might have good oils..at least the descriptions sound good. Anyone have any good oils or not really?? TIA Hugs! Michele
