I made this for my neice who is about to graduate. She got a full scholarship to havorford college. She is going to be a double major. Something to do with biology. I think biological engineer and something else. I'm keeping it in my shop to show customers and take orders till her graduation party. I have a sign up saying. Made to order electric candles.

Thanks I put one in my shop window and got a lot of orders. I still have people coming in asking about them. I guess even a late gift is better than no gift at all. It's certainly unique. The last communion party i went to my nephew got 3 wooden crosses and 4 sets of rosary beads. I only wish i knew how to make these back then. I was one of the ones who got him a cross. :undecided By the time he opened up my gift he was not happy to see another cross. I simply said well now you can decorate the entire house with them.

They look like they could be ice pops. I could eat them lol

I've made a few of these this past week because today everyone around here had their first holy communion. I hope i did this right.

What are you using to put the words on there? I've been using water slide and then spray the candle with clear candle glaze, but was looking for other ways to do my sentiment candles.

I saw your pansies on the candle. I tried several months ago to paint on my candles but the paint peeled off. Is there something you put on the candle before you paint or do you just spray the candle when your done?

I'm jealous. I do one stroke painting but can only do a few flowers like roses, sunflowers and wisteria. I can do butterflies, bees and humingbirds too but thats the extent of it.

Keep posting anything else you paint. I love looking at someone elses work.
