I do 5x orange with a little rosemary and litsea to anchor. Never had a problem with fading. I also add poppy seed, cornmeal, ground coffee and a bit of finely ground rosemary, lemon & orange peel.

I use Peaks Honeysuckle and it's by far in my top 5 best sellers in both soap and soy candles.

I've been searcing through various suppliers with no luck. Anyone know of a supplier with any variation of a cupcake flavor oil? Or a flavor oil which could be renamed cupcake? TIA

I've been using my pyrex in the microwave for years without mishap. Though, like scrubzz, I zap my butters in short bursts. I melt my beeswax in the double boiler, only.

This has been our slowest year-to-date. Sales were still good, but nothing close to what we usually make. We sold lots of soap, lotion, sink fresheners and firestarters. The soy candles did pretty well since we switched to jelly jars. It sure made a difference in cost and the customers seemed really happy with the fact. Also picked up a new local wholesale account for candles and firestarters, as well as being contacted by the owner of the local coffee house. She invited us in to set up for Holiday Memories and has had customers coming in asking if/when we would be back so she wants us to set up a monthly date to come in for the weekend. I'll get my caffeine fix, if nothing else .

Another vote for Peaks!!!!

I've used it in Peak's Pink Sugar, NG's Warm Vanilla Sugar as well as a yummy blend I did of WVS & Flicker's Patchouli Honey. No grittiness issues in any of them.

Peak's Home For the Holidays always says Christmas, to me.

Bird of Paradise was our all around best seller. We used a blend of Pomagranate and Strawberries & Cream (both from BCN) in equal portions.

I use peaks patchouli and always get told by the hardcore patchouli fans that it smells just like it.
Ditto....... I use Peaks as well.

Their Southern Magnolia soaps beautifully. Also have to agree on the Pumpkin Cheesecake . I have a batch on the curing rack now.

I can't explain the difference between the two, having never tried the India. I adore the Guatamala, as do my customers .
It's also excellent blended with Rosemary eo.

Depending on how strong you want it, I'd go about 1/2oz. pp. Myself, I love the smell and do it around 3/4oz. pp. It colors a lovely light to medium yellow, on its own, so I only add a bit of finely powdered lemongrass and powdered lemon peel to it, for effect. HTH!

I'd definitely go with a good Lemongrass essential oil. We sell out of this soap at every show. Makes a great blender also.

Creme Brulee

Cinnamon Balsam

I feel like such an oddball, but my favorite molds are my Martha molds. I can't seem to bring myself to give them up yet, though I dearly need to see about a couple of custom molds. My favorite colorants are ultramarines, natural colornats and TBK POP colors. Cutter, I'll have to say my mitre box and pastry blade.

Thanks so much for all your help, everyone. After much deliberation over the most excellent choices I was given, I've settled on All Jazzed Up. I know that's how I feel after a great cup of coffee . Thanks again!!!!
