  3. Hi- 2 scents I have tried that do really well are CandleSource's Black Raspberry Vanilla and ICS's Pink Sugar. I haven't really tried many others than those... I hope it helps a little Tracey
  4. I have bought from Candlesource through their regular website. They have wonderful oils. I just love them...Loren is great to work with too and fast service. I placed my most recent order Monday morning and it's at my door already today.... Their Black Raspberry Vanilla is the best Coffee Caramel Creme, J&J bedtime Bath, melonberry, Lemongrass, Pumpkin Vanilla--are some of the ones that sell really well for me. I have a bunch more I can't think of right now.. Tracey
  5. I got my orders in and processed and made the payments I needed to. Hopefully there aren't any more glitches... Tracey
  6. Connie is killing me. If paypal ever comes back up today I can get my order completed. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Tracey
  7. I have the same thing. I am trying to place some orders and pay a couple bills and nothing works. I tried getting on the site and can't. I was briefly logged in and it said the site was down for maintenance, but I didn't catch until when and it's Pacific Time. I tried calling them and sat on hold and then got some voice activated automated system....didn't hold long enough to get an actual person. Tracey
  8. The pumpkin cornbread is awesome in a candle....I use KY125 and it's wonderful. I love it.....I can't wait to get the honey gingerbread into wax and soap-heard it makes a great bar of soap. Connie's Cucumber Mint is FANTASTIC! Tracey
  9. The Pine N Peel is one of my best sellers at the Fall Shows... Pumpkin Spice Chesnuts N Brown Sugar These 2 are also very good sellers. Tracey
  10. It is an absolutely wonderful scent too.....makes a wonderful and fresh candle..one of my new favorites... Tracey
  11. Jami- I am still working on those. I use KY125. I am also testing some CDN's that are larger than the CDN22's. I found a company that has a 24,26,28 and 30 in the CD and CDN's. So, I may actually be able to single wick....I tried double wicking and ended up with a melt pool way to early with some and others that burned fine to begin and then weakened almost to the point of going out.... Tracey
  12. Thanks Nancy- I saw the request form and thought I would e-mail them for some more information on the wicks before ordering samples. I have yet to hear from them. I may order samples anyway and see what that response is. Tracey PS-I love your name--Nurse Nancy. My MIL's name is Nancy and she is a nurse.
  13. Great swirls in the MP. I have tried and they don't look that nice. Tracey
  14. When surfing around for some wicking information, I discovered a site that has CD and CDN wicks in sizes of 24, 26, 28 and 30. I believe it is called Wick N Clip. The minimum order is high for me, but I was curious as to if anyone has tried those particular CD's? I never realized they made them bigger than a 22. Tracey
  15. I have a friend that sent me some samples of her Backwoods fragrances. I tested the Cuc Mint in my soy and I am in love with it and can't wait to get it into my gardener's soap..... I am placing an order tomorrow for quite a few of the fragrances-now I really can't wait! Tracey
  16. The best peach I have found so far is Perfect Peach from ICS. Strawberry---I love KY's Strawberry Rhubarb. It's an excellent seller for me and a fantastic Strawberry scent. Tracey
  17. These are driving me crazy as well. I use KY125. I tired about everything with KY's Strawberry Rhubarb. Well, I decided to start right at the beginning. I poured up a tester last night of just wax, no fragrance and no color. I am hoping that will give me the bare bones starting point for this. Tracey
  18. I too am looking for the BBW type Wild Honeysuckle..... Tracey
  19. Has anyone tested these jars yet? In particular with soy or a soy/cottonseed blend? I love the looks of these, but have had a heck of a time wicking these things.....I am testing with one of my tried and true fragrances....I have tried single wicking and double wicking....it seems with the double wicks they start out great, but then get very weak.....I have had the same with trying to single wick.....I have used CD's and even cdn's a tried both a htp1212 and 1312.....They are either too hot or just not enough..I thought a CD20 would work for me but after only a short time the wick started puffing the nasty black stuff. This is a fragrance the burns beautifully in an 8oz square mason with a cd18, so I figured a 20 may be a good starting point and couldn't believe it when it started smoking. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had luck or has any suggestions. Am thinking about re pouring and starting over..... Tracey
  20. KY's Strawberry Rhubarb is awesome..it makes fantastic B & B products as well. Tracey
  21. Not bad. I do go to the Walmart by my work and bought 8 of them to test before overly committing. Everyone here at work loves them. I think they would be nice for home canned gifts as well. For anyone who does canning..... Tracey
  22. I love those and even at that price the cute factor is definitely right on with those. I am thinking about offering them only in my newest fragrances of the season or as a hostess gift/incentive for home parties.... Tracey
  23. Those are beautiful. Tracey
