  1. My understanding is, yes it costs $300 bucks, and yes it will be copyrighted, but the litigation to control your copyright will cost thousands after someone infringes upon it. The piece of mind is only there if you can afford to 'go after' someone who copy's your stuff. It's the nature of the beast in this business; one idea lends to a thousand replicas.

  2. :highfive: Happy Easter! I have a simple question. I poured ecosoy container blend; 1 at 138F. and one at 142F. The hotter one looked a little better though. They both tended to 'pull away' from the bottom area of the glass. Why is this??? I do this in my garage and live in the mountains of NC; could the temp. be a factor? Help please:-)

  3. The reason that soy is harmful to cancer is because soy feeds estrogen based cancers. Soy is good for other things. You put chemicals into the wax to make it stronger, smell better and look better. Why not the concern for those chemicals. You are more likely to get damage from burning chemicals than soy wax.

Now, if you really want to break it down then the reason that colon cancer has increased is from radiation from microwaves. Think about it, a microwave is at stomach level concentrating radiation there.....

Anyways, soy does not cause cancer. It only feeds estrogen based cancer. If a consumer is worried about feeding their estrogen based cancer through their soy candle then they should probably get another kind. And if I have any say, I think that they should get rid of their microwave:D .

  4. I have been doing some experimentation and have come to the conclusion that with the many cadles I want to make, mixing the wax myself is the best way to go. As for scent, I would like to know if most of you guys use the full 1 ounce/pound that is suggested. I have found a site that sells super concentrated that suggest 1/4 to 1/2 ounce/pound (saveonscents.com). But the real questions are: for making a wide variety -- mix myself? Do you use 1 ounce/pound?
