I have a coffee scent that I have bought for some time now and it always has sediment at the bottom. Doesn't seem to affect the candle at all and it gives a kick butt throw. My most requested one in the winter. IMO as long as it perfoms to your standards I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a hard time getting cucumber melon to throw in soy, same thing with sweat pea. IMO they are both lighter scents. You may want to start out with a fo that is known to be strong in soy. LOL.

Using 1# EZ Soy, 1 oz beeswax, & 1 oz of JS mimosa mandarin in 8 oz tins with ECO 12. Cold throw is great but hot throw is weak with a slight fuel smell. Anyone sucessfully hot throwing with this one? If so, what mix are you using?

Mine haven't rusted yet, and I even reuse for my testers.

Does anyone know where I can get the pour spout caps for 8 & 16 ounce bottles of fragrance oils besides peaks?
-
I use hawaiian breeze from another supplier and I color it aqua blue.
-
Does anyone use the ez wick setters and if you do, what do you think of em?

SHUT UP! You're successfully SINGLE wicking with a CD14?! That's crazy talk. I'm so jealous, I've been trying to single wick these babies for a month, and I'm still vacillating between an 18 and 20. I must be way overwicking.
I feel your pain. I gave up on balmoral jars. Couldn't get it right to save my life. I tried everything everyone suggested that worked "great" for them, same wick, wax,fo,pour temp, don't know, go figure! Good luck!

She just said that her family had grown since she started the business and it was hard for her to maintain the quaility of the business and devote the time needed to her 3 children since they were becoming more active. She stated she's selling the business if anyone is interested. I checked the website but there is nothing mentioned on there about it closing. I'm assuming I got an email because I subscribe to her monthly newsletter.

Just got an email from BNL. They are going out of business! I love their oils.

I use the 8 oz tins and EZsoy with a CD16 or 60z. I have some fo's that I can use a CD14. I usually always have small hangup on first burn, but it always catches up on the 2nd burn. I haven't tried the ECO wicks yet, that is next.

Yes thanks from me too!! Although it's not quite what I was looking for!:tiptoe:
What I'm looking for is something like this below:
(I've started to make my own chart here.. or am trying to):embarasse
Eeeks its harding making a table on a forum post!!!
HTP----- CD ----Container ----Votive ----Pillar ----Taper
41--------4 --------1-2"-------1-1.5"---- 1-2"----- ½-¾"
52 -------5 --------1-2"-------1-1.75"--- 1-2" -----½-¾"
62------- 6 --------2-3" ------ 1-1.75"--- 2-3" -----¾-7/8"
73 -------7 and so on , etc....
but with all the wick kinds.... I've only found size suggestions for these two so far, but I'm only just beginning my search..
Oh.. and this is supposedly for soy wax!
Dublon,
I know exactly what you are talking about and I have searched high and low for something like that but no luck. Maybe everyone can keep their eyes open.

I think it looks great too! Just bought some of these tins but haven't tried them out yet. Good luck!

Anyone tried vanilla bean noel from just scent? Vanilla is my fav and I think I've tried all of hers except this one.

I love it. Fun and young looking. The only thing I might add is on the enter page I would try to add something that tells what the website is about such as putting what you carry inside your store. If someone comes across the site that isn't looking for it probably wouldn't bother entering inside to see what it was about, but if they had an idea that was just thrown out there at them it might make them want to take a look. Make sense?

Looks beautiful! You are motivating me to try pillars Michael!
-
Definately try the capitvatingly currant.
-
I'm wanting to try the dye flakes. Can anyone recommend a good place to get these that work really well in soy?
-
I haven't come across ANY like that- with or without the locking lids. Where did you find those?
These are at www.candlesandsupplies.com.

Good question Lindsaycb, I would like to know that also!

Glad to know that mystical angel, I can save some extra $$$ now!

I have tried the following from there: Home for the Holidays, Home Sweet Home, Tulip, Fresh Peach, Clean Cotton, Fresh Linen, Island Mango, Sage & Citrus. These all were either in the extreme concentrate and ultra concentrate. IMO these are dead on dupes. Did well in candles, B&B, and oil burners. I don't feel like their SOS line would be good for candles but I haven't tried them. I will always order my yankee dupes from here just because I have had such good luck.

I just poured their Taylored Brulee. It is sooooo strong! I've gotten a few others and have had great luck in EZSOY and EZSOY/J223 mix.
Votive Shades

I have been looking to, but no luck. I did come across some that was on a votive holder and candle from family dollar stores for $2. I chunked their candle and just use the shade. Don't know if $2 is cheap enough, but it is when I can't find them anywhere else.
