  1. Hi Rob,

I purchased a little from Lorrie's last coop and love the stuff...only wish I would have ordered more! It makes wonderful scrubs and I am going to try a shaving cream with it. She has a wonderful recipe listed on one of the threads. The stuff came from the chemistry store and is great quality. I believe she is going to try to have another coop in a month or 2 :). HTH

  2. Thanks Katinka! I will definately take your advice and send Jen an email. Definately not something I would want to guess at and make somebody sick. You would think that with all the different recipes calling for so many types of fruits & milks that there would be some info that isn't so darn hard to find. Of course, I am probably just not looking in the right places! ;)

  3. Thanks candlebean! During a google search I found some sites said never to use fresh fruit/veggies and this on the FNWL site "Preservatives do not need to be added to your soap unless you are using milk, fruit or other fragile ingredients." but no mention of what the preservative is??? I really would appreciate it if you let me know what your book advises :grin2: . Thanks again!

  4. Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question? I have been searching and searching but have not been able to find the answer . I have some wonderful sounding m&p recipes that call for blueberries, mashed bananas, pumpkin, and other edibles that I am wanting to try. I would really hate to give soap out and have them grow mold. Yuck! LOL Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  5. They are all adorable! I have some of the liquid latex from Hobby Lobby that I will have to dig out and try ... again. My last attempts didn't go too well due to my lack of patience. :undecided LOL I have to try my mold out after 5 or 6 coats just because I can't wait to see how it will turn out. Now that I see that it does work when you do it correctly I will give it another go!

Great Job and thanks for the inspiration to give the latex another go! :yay:
