I'm new here and need help with body/linen sprays. I got an order from my ex-mother in law for 16 gift baskets that have sprays in them. I was told by a friend of mine to use an easy mixture of 50/50 witch hazel and distilled water and that would work fine. So, with that in mind, when I ordered my other supplies, I didn't bother ordering the spray base. Another friend of mine suggested that I check out this board so I did. I went in and searched for body sprays and wasn't impressed with what I was reading about that witch hazel/water mixture. I did see a lot of people use cyclomethicone and FCO. Is that what I should be using? I also read about adding Poly 20 to the witch hazel/water mixture. Would it be easier for me to just get that and use the witch hazel/water mixture? Where would I get Poly 20 from locally? As a matter of fact, where would I get the cyclo & FCO from as well locally in case I have to go this route? And how do both mixtures take color and f/o? I have to have these done by the end of the week to deliver to her and I'm panicing here! I thought I could just use that 50/50 mixture but now it looks like I may not be able to and whatever I am using has to be bought locally as it's too late to order more stuff. I'm panicking here! HELP!!!! Please ... anyone ... someone! I'm so confused with all this ... TIA for the help!
