  1. We had our last show on Sat. I was a bit worried as it was our first time doing this particular show. In the end I was thrilled that it went as well as it did. Booth fees were 162.00

Total sales for the day were 1480.00 wooohooo!!

We set up the wrong direction (could not find anyone to ask!) and had to move everything an hour into setting up. One of the tables legs gave out as we were attempting to move it, and everything came crashing down. I nearly had a heart attack at that moment. Lucikly it was not the candles, so the damage was minor compared to what could have been.

I was thrilled that I sold a ton of bath and body at this show. (my last one, hardly any!) Scrubs and lotions were the big sellers, soap close behind.

Candles...sugar cookie was the big seller. I have found that whatever scent you burn, you are gonna sell tons of!!

I could not wait for my shows to be over, but now I wish I had a few more to do!! LOL This season was by far our best ever.

Hope everyone else had fantastic shows this weekend!!! :highfive:

  2. thanks everyone. Those sets had one bar of cp soap, one lipgloss, and one trial size lotion. I htink they are the perfect size gift for teachers, etc. In fact, I was hoping to find more containers so I could make some for my childrens teachers!! LOL

Love that Target dollar section, but once the stuff goes quick, and once it is gone, it is GONE! :sad2:

  3. Thanks everyone!

Really, if you are not taking cc at your shows, you may want to consider it. It took me just minutes to process them all, and seconds to know they were approved (big sigh of relief, as I was too busy to stop and call them in!)

Yes, you are losing a small percentage of your sale...but without it...you may be losing the WHOLE sale.

  4. Well, it started out r-e-a-l-l-y slow, and I was a bit worried. Traffic did pick up about 3/4 of the way through the show, but still not at all like usual. The folks who were buying, were spending though! And this was my first show to accept credit/debit cards. I know that I myself, never carry cash, and use my debit card for everything, so I decided it was time for propay. We had over $400 in cc/debit orders, so I am happy with this decision!

Our show fee was $100.00 and in the end we made $1649.00 :yay: :yay:

Woohooo!! I was shocked when we added it up last night. Really makes all the hard work worth it. We have another one in two weeks, so back to work for me!

Oh..the best seller was Gingerbread by a landslide. Last year, it sat there, this year it flew off the shelves...go figure!

Hope everyone else had great shows this weekend!

edited cause I can not spell..lol
