I dont no you dont live near you that I no of , so I have nothing to do with you other then I asked a question. I thought this was a place where you can come and ask questions not get down or made fun of because you ask a ?.As I said before I have poured some candle and I HAVE BEEN TESTING THEM and have helped other people . All I wanted was a place to order my supplys from , I have tons of product that ive order from other company premade candles to sell and home decor . I am not use to sitting around I have been in the medical field since I was 18 my kids are grown so my husband and myself decide for me to quit and do what I wanted to do for a change. so I wanted to have my own candle suppys in so I can work on them while in my store so I dont get bored and I can be doing something . You should no the fact before you call me a ridiculous person. I have probably saved more lives then you have ever made candles. so you should no people before you go to saying thing about them. So if you have a bad name its of your own doing not mine. BTW I thought sliverofwax was joking so I was joking back.HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

I have ordered supplies I was wanting to order more! the place I ordered them from shipping rate was outrageous so I was trying to find a place closer with cheaper shipping charges. I also had asked about trying differnt waxes since I no there all differnt I was trying to compare them to see which kind is close to what I have already got. My store is more home decor primitive art rustic home decor, but am also going to be /am making candles but my main thing is the home decor. I have made candle have been for a bit and have been testing them and have other people testing them as well for me. Plus im ordering candles already made form other company as well to sale. ! :lipsrseal santa eek

invested way to much money in my building and all my other productes to forget about it. im really looking forward to Gracie comming but I am also ready to do something for me as well, see ive been married to the same man since I was 15 had 1st son @ 16 2nd @ 18 .im now 38 so that tells you a little. lol on the pie candle maybe Ill do some research on how to make them I think they are lovely.. thanks so much for yoour advice, its nice to ahve someplace to come to when you have a no clue. like I siad with all the info out there there is so much and so differnt it good to have people to talk to about it..thanks have a great day!

That is quite alright didnt want to bother you. I went and compared pricing and all and I placed and order with tenn after I placed the order the man still couldnt give me a shipping rate so I told him to find out then call me back. I order the celestial soy have you or anyone tryed it? I also order the tart molds to try and make some of them which I havent done yet either.also where does everyone order there label "names of there store" to put on there candle from? or your bags with your store name on it?ok thanks for being patiance with me...have a great one...

Sliverofwax Dec of this year!!! no im not becomming a suppiler I am opening up a store a home decor store and a candle shop. and yes I am ordering suppy today,, and yes I am hoping to pour candle now like yesterday lol.. and 911 is on my speed dial! lolthe reason I asked the ? was I have heard some say that certain wax wont work with some scent and some wick dont work with some thing so I was wondering if I order scents from another company if it would work with the waxes I already had like say I am using the cb 135 soy and I wanted to order some new fo from another company with better cheaper shipping rate since I paid 50 bucks for shipping if it would interfer with the candle. also like some waxes are for votive while others are for contianer... I no it was probble a dump ? but im new so... i can ask dumb ?... Ive read and read but by the time yoou read everything its all differnt..

And yes there is a lot of info out there its gets so confusing that you dont no what to beleive.. I enjoy making the candle althought im new to it it give me a life to loook forward to , my kids are groan and married now im still fairly young and nothing to much to look forward to and I always wanted to do this and now actually have the time and money to do it. but I dont want to take a chance on causing someone house to burn either.. lolI will do more research and see what I can come up with , Itryed the forever candle but ti didnt turn out right so I guesss maybe ill try again... thanks again for the great advice.oh btw I will be a new grandma in about 3 weeks YEESSS and im still young.. so I do have something to look forward to..

Just making the gel candles w/o wicks to use on candle warmers? is that safe? or is there a huge bit of danger there also.... Im kinda of scared now of making the gel candles but dont want to waste what I have got so what do you all think?... sorry if im being a pest just dont no where else to check..

Guess I should have read even more then I already have about making gel candles... I have tryed to read everything I can possible get my hands on it jsut there is so much info on them that it is confusing you dont no what to do........ I havent made anymore Gel candles.. I tryed to make a forever candle but my flower didnt turn out right , guess it just trail and error.. lol I no ive seen some lovely gel candles, I want to try more but really dont have a clue on what to use with them ..ok well thanks again for the great info...Angie

One more question.... Where I order my soy from celluminations will it affect my product by order the rest of my stuff from another dealer,,, maybe a crazy ?.. but was wondering.. There is so much to no I would have never thought that. Im am getting ready for have my first grandbaby in a few weeks and am trying to open my business by dec 1st, so thats why im trying to find out all this stuff.. any top selling fo that you all like best?...ok thanks hope you all have a blessed day!Angie..

Ok what kind of scale ? I have one I went and bought that is round and has a bowl on it is that the wrong one?.. and yes my pot was a mess to clean up! I did clean my shells in min oil as was told to do and I did pour my candle in layers I had read to do it like that.. I bought the min oil from the phram @ walmarts ... How much scent would oyu have used with you 3lbs of gel?.. each web site tells something diffarnt...ok thanks...

I was wondering has anyone used there celestail soy wax? I ma using soy 135 right now and am having good luck with it or so it seem as I am new at this it doesnt say anyhthing about any #'s on it.. I am trying to find a good wholesale that shipping isnt going to breake me up I jsut spent 200.00 and paid 50 in shipping alone.I want a good product but rather not have to pay out the wazoo for shipping.. or has anyone use bluegrass candle suppy and if so what did u try and how was the pricing and shipping cost...?I need to place and order today since I am almost out of scents..thanks angie

Hi... Like I said I am new @ candle making ... I made my first gel candle sat night. I bought my gel from Gelluminations I got the 25lbs of cmp penreco gel and this is what I did...I used apple cinn scent for both gel and soy I used 4tbs of scent 3lbs of gel heated to 205 like it said the scent was really good, but when my sisterlaw made them her gel would just peel off when she went to clean up or take some off the sides or something but mine was like dropplets not able to jsut peel it off it just dropplets it went in the jars fine havent burned them yet jsut wonder why this hapen what did I do wrong? I added sea shells but cleaned them in min oil like it said to but they still floated and had loads of air bubbles... I did go to the newbie site and read up on some...thanks..

I am doing soy and gel . also what company do you all prefer buying your scents from. or does it matter..I went to the newbie page and looked at some of the suppilers there is quite a lot to see.l I did find one here in the bluegrass called bluegrass candle suppy or something has anyone ordered from them?..oh one more question.... I use cotton wicks they are 51-32-18 I dont have a clue what that means but what the place I order from said I needed to use. I was also told that a 1/2oz was a tb spoon I dont no if that is true or not thats what there web site said. The blue berry one smells really good the only diffance is I used least scent and more dye and also oured at a cooler temp.thanks for your help

I have some questions if thats ok.. I need some help I am opeing up a candle shop and primtitive art store and I am making my own candle or should I say trying.. ok here are the questions ... if I am asking to much jsut let me no I have never use one of these places b4.. here goes.. I am keeping a log of what I ahve done and made. 1st one i made is soy candle The wax I ordered was the CB135 I use 1lbs of soy 2 slivers of block dye and 1tb spoon of orange scent. burned good but not much scent and mushroomed also when blown out smoked ..the next one was soy apple cinn 1lbs of wax 3tb spoon of scent which is what it called for 2slivers of dye mixed my dye @ 190 and poured @155 like the web site said. when burning this one smelled like a chemical instead of the scent burned good from sides and all and only a small mushroomthe last one is soy 1lbs of wax 2 3/4 tb blueberry scent 4 slivers of dye ; what i mean by that is shaved off the edges that much. added dye at 190 but I didnt pour till 140degrees. im burning it now smells good however the sides arent melting all these were made in small candle jars not votive the next size up.any suggestions? what have I done wrong.im also going to make gel candles havent tryed them as of yet.also does anyone no any good suppliers ?thanksAngela
