I am asking about the FAKE electric candles.??like the grubby electric ones, only these are NOT WAX...I saw these at a craft show and they are so nice looking..they even had battery powered ones..IF anyone knows where to buy these at wholesale prices,,please let me know.. littleshote

Hi all,,well I had an idea,,lol..what about measuring a certain amount of SMelly Jelly with fo and distilled water,,let it "jell" and then scoop in Cello Bag and sell by the BAG!!..and let the customer put in any container they want,,I would put caution etc..on bag..has anyone done this??and what do yall think about it?? littleshote

Hi CEP,,there's a product just for Candle Painting,,you can get it at Hobby Lobby or Michaels,,and after you apply you can just use regular acrylic paint..just look in the paint section of the craft stores..hths littleshote

Yes Stell1952,,I slump, drill,,decorative,,etc..lol..my husband showed me how to use power tools and I am HOOKED..lol..I also make my own molds..and do lots of other stuff.,,I would LOVE to learn candlemaking,,but I think my husband would cringe..he is SO supportive of everything I try and do,,but one MORE thing, might push him over the edge..so for now,,I think I have found a nice woman in Kentucky to make the candles for me..

OOPS,,should have said that I have a square container that sets on top of the flat wine bottle..anyway,,have phased the flat ones out..the others sell alot better...

here are two types I make..all from recycled wine bottles..

ok,,no I am NOT a candlemaker,,I make decorative candle holders...she would take my holders and HER candles to shows, and I would TAKE her candles and my holders to shows..the candles arent that PRETTY,,but people like the scent..Creme Brulee..I think I MAY have found a way to SAVE some of the UGLY ones,,I took a credit card and scrapped the sides,,now if I could smooth them..I might be able to salvage some..lol..

Well,,,all,,I have tried for nearly l month to resolve this problem..what I didnt tell you all is that I was also wholesaleling my product to her, and the day that this all happened she TOOK my product with the promise of paying me,,AND sending me the candles lent to her,,I had to resolve to sending her a DEMAND letter, certified, and finally got my check,,BUT this is the result of the resolve..SO you see there was nothing MORE I could do..Most certainly this was done SPITEFULLY,,and she if sent me an email saying that this should END our business together..lol..well YES..I originally was going to ask if there could be any FIX for these..but on other boards,,well they just said toss, or make firestarters from them..lol.. littles

Well,,I was buying wholesale from her,,and we were at Canton Texas Trades Day together and she ran out of Creme Brulee and I offered to let her SELL mine, the ones that I already paid for with the understanding and promise for her to replace them with the same..WELL..have to say that she also got upset for me NOT asking her to go to some Big shows with me,,so after she got home, she called and said she couldnt wholesale to me anymore,,well I asked about the candles that I had let her "borrow" and she said that I would get them..all of this happened in NOVEMBER,,and I, just got the candles two days ago,,and they were NOT the quaility of the ones that I had let her "sell"..so you see, its more of a SPITEFUL thing that she has done..she DID give me the candles that she owed me,,JUST NOT THE QUAILITY ones..shoddy quality right?..anyway thats the explaination..

I would NOT recomment Ordering ANYTHING from Them..

Thanks for your reply Pam ..but Long story Short,,Amber Ridge Candles didnt really want to send me the candles in the first place..the owner of the company had "borrowed" some from me to sell that I had alread paid for and these were to be replacement for those,,instead she sent her "Fuboos" I think she calls them..so talking to the "company" lol,,is not an option,,really dont want to talk to someone who would send these instead of the ones promised..I guess I could sell these with the Company Name on them and let people see how substandard they are..I really wouldnt want to do it UNLESS there is no way to fix the problem..

Hi all,,Amber Ridge Candles sent me some very sloppily made candles,,these are NOT the look that I ordered,,,my question is, Is there some way that someone can Fix these?..I dont know how to post picture,,but if someone lets me know how I will...these candles are supposed to be a brownish color on top and and butter color on bottom, the scent is Creme Brulee,these that they sent are their flubs,,I know, because I have ordered from them before,,and THESE are UGLY, compared to the originals..I guess I want to know if I could FIX these??
