I have also messed around with homemade chocolates (mostly adult stuff:drool:, gee I think I might need to go check out my adult molds to see what I can come up with:laugh2: ), reborns dolls, cross stitch....I think that it....

  2. Ok here is a pic I took.. In this pick I have 8 jj in the box and packing peanuts. When I did this I notice the the FRB is only a hair smaller the the case of 12 jj.

And I broke a jar while doing this..:embarasse I fogot that I didn't have the boxed taped and picked it up by the top, walked across the room and well.... I think you know what happened next..

  3. Well, it seems like a lot of us have the same thing on our minds. I have been thinking of ideas to move stock out so I can start a new line (don't have room now.)

OK I have a couple of the flat rate boxes here.. The best bet would be the FRB1 which is 11x8 1/2x5 1/2. I can easily fit 7 jelly jars in there with plenty of room for packing and can get 6 pint jars with plenty of packing..

  4. Cheryl is great to work with.. My web set is also from her. Everything I have for biz matches my site. Back in Aug. I needed a 125x125 button and a round layout for a new label so I got a hold of her and she worked with me.. I know she had to think I was crazy or something but I was 8mths prego an had a 1000 things going on and she was great thru my whole craziness..

  5. I bought a few of the ones that Peaks had on sale and they were thinner. Peaks had noted that on their site saying that these were a one time buy and not the usual ones they carry. I've used them several times and they were fine.

Well, for me I didn't know what the norm was for pilar molds since I never made any and didn't have any other molds to go by until I got ones from CS...I still use them but not as much as the other ones I have..

  6. I am a hobbyist.

I store my stuff in the basement on a shelving unit, then haul it up to the kitchen when I make candles. Then I haul it back downstairs when I'm done.

I do this in lieu of going to the gym! :laugh2::laugh2:

This sounds like me.. All ready made candles and cases of wax are in the basement and everything else is packed in boxes under the kitchen table(table is against the wall).

  7. Geez, I wish I had a shop.. At the time I'm stick in a very small kitchen, where I have to uppack everything to work and repack when I'm done.. But if things go right I won't have to do that for very long...

This started out as a hobby but is also a biz..

  8. Sometime ago I got a couple of mold from Peaks, they had them on sale. This was my first time having pilar molds so I didn't notice any thing.. And a while later I came across CS on ebay. CS had their molds on ebay 3 for $9.95 so I got some. And what I notice when I got them was that they were thicker & heavier molds.

  9. Ok, Everyone...

Here's what I got on SCC..

    Like we weren't expecting this!

Sweet Cupcake's site & back office are all gone! Owner has stated

that someone stole over $4000 from her paypal account & accessed all

    payment records & consultants info.

Then she posted that no one would get refunds for anything unless

    they were double charged.

In the mean time we have found out that Sweet Cupcake did not have

an "original" line of products, she is getting these from another

company. Take a look at this site & you will see the EXACT same

scents, products, bottles, everything that SC claimed as their

    original line of products.

    www.lalumierecandles.com

Too much of a coincidence for me!

And guess what now- the whole SC site is gone now! Imagine that!

I know that no one who joined- expected this to happen when they

joined. There are a lot of angry, upset & worried people out there

    right now.

Just want to warn everyone who was/is a consultant with Sweet

    Cupcake.

If you made a purchase, file a claim with paypal or your credit card

co. immeadiately as I am sure you will never see your orders.

Several consultants are suggesting legal action be filed against the

company. If I learn more about that, I will post it...

Thank you & I am sorry for everyone who was involved with this

    company.

  11. My mother bought me some wicks from Ebay. God love her' date=' there is no description of the wicks, size, etc. All I know is that they are cotton, pretabbed and kind of yellowish looking. How do I tell what size and kind they are? TIA![/quote']

Did you check the listing for the wicks?? Or even try to get ahold of the seller...
