  1. So CPHP is the same as HP, just means made from the start in a crockpot? That makes sense.

I was trying to read the CPHP as cold process hot process and thinking it was a mix of the two.

Yea, the whole process is in the crockpot. I use the CPHP method and its easier to me. But CP looks a whole lot better.:) sometimes anyway

  2. I think its mostly ignorance is the area of MO. If you do research in your local library or extensively on the net you will that mo is not harmful and in fact one of the best moisturizers out there. Most of the negative stuff you comes from researchers of manufacturers trying to up-play their products and downgrade someone elses. It does not clog pores, the molecules are too large to penetrate the skin. It just lays on the skin and inhibit moisture from leaving your skin, keeping your skin feeling very soft.

Some people give opinions based on what they heard and not what they know. When I started my biz the first thing I did was research whatever I was adding to my products. Don't believe the hype. Don't believe everything you read on here or anywhere else. Read and know for yourself.

  3. No, I did not add the fragrance until it was finished and it was already chocolate brown colored. Thats the reason I chose that particular fragrance because of the color of the soap. The GM soap does well if I CP but just turns brown when I cphp. My question mainly is this, Does it turn this way in all HP processes? Not cp. I have cp gm down packed but cphp is kicking my tail because of the color. Maybe I will try adding after the cooking process before I mold and see how that works. Thanks ladies.

  4. Is there a way to use goatmilks in CPHP without it turning chocolate brown? Can I use it after the cooking process? I love everything about the soap except the color. I had to scent it fudge brownie because it was chocolate colored soap. Will coconut milk behave the same way? Or do I have to stick with CP method when dealing with milks.

    Yes the milk was frozen.

  5. I don't care for TC because the oils I received all smelled the same (chemically or fuelly). I emailed them concerning the problem and no one would respond. But all is well, it was only samples so I just through all 10 bottles in the garbage and chalked it up to a lesson learned. But I would not expect for them to cancel my order after it has been placed or any company for that matter (especially if I didn't like their oils anyway, and to order from them again).

  6. MSM is great. I also use it as part of my daily supplement (vitamin). Its very bitter so I only add 1/2 tbls to juice or something but not water. In creams, it is wonderful. But remember it is transdermal; meaning its a carrier. So whatever you add to your product know that it is also being absorbed into your body completely. So make sure you pay attention to what products you add to your creams, know the benefits or dangers.
