Can anyone help me choose a good wax for pillars, i have been reading and there's just so much info i am a little confused....i see 50/50, soy, eco, what is all that. i have used the IGI 4625 to make pillars but these were the first and only pillars i have made. I don't know if there is anything better, please let me know...TIA Myrna

  9. Hello everyone, i am reading this about rustic candles and i have been reading everywhere to find info on how to do the different colors and the layers. This was very, very helpful, you guys are the best. I have a couple of questions, how do you get the shape look on the pillars do you tilt the mold when you are pouring? and also do i have to have all my different candles colors melting at the same time? i only have one presto pot. do i need to get another one? and can someone give me an idea of the best wax for pillar candles and the wick. TIA Everyone. I want to make candles for my home.

  11. I am trying to make container candles. i am using IGI 4630 wax. My question is, at what temperature do i pour my fragrance and how long to keep stirring fragrance before pouring in my container? I dont want my fragrance to burn off. I am new at this as you can tell. lol. any suggestion please.
  12. Hi, i was just reading your messages and i love the idea of having my daughters do some projects with me. they do help me when i am making candles. but my question is how can they make lip balm/ glitter loton/ all the stuff you mentioned, they soun like fun...please let me know. thanks;)

  14. i have only made votive candles as a hobby but i liked the experience so much that i wanted to try this for my shower. Thank you so much for your suggestions and your help. I think im getting the hang of it. LOL
  15. it is a 5oz honey pot jar and its curved. And i made a mistake the wicks i have are 51-32-18 6"inches .

  19. I ordered 5 oz containers to make candles and i ordered zinc wicks 60-44-18 6 in. i want to know if i iam using the right wicks for these containers. please any suggestion. Thanks:yay:
