I have been making soy candles for about 4 months now. Three weeks ago I took the plung and made my first dipped bears. Today I made my first dipped pine cones.
    I am 37 with 5 kids ,2 boys 3 girls and a stepdaughter with 4 children, 3 girls 1 boy.
I started making candles to suppliment my income. Turns out to be the easiest thing I have ever done and it is relaxing.

  1. That sounds like it would look great. I will have to check out a few things tommorow at walmart. I bet if you looked you could find all sorts of things.
  2. Thanks I will check it out right now.
  3. This is going sound dumb to those of you pro candles makers out there. But I have seen candles that look like they have chunks of wax in them. I have only been doing candles since June 2006 and those candles look really sharp. was thinking red and green for christmas. Do you just break up wax and pour melted wax over it. I do not know what you call these candles. Any imput would help.
  4. These are all great ideas:yay: . Not sure about the toilet paper one. But might give it a swing.
  5. I get my jars with lids including the metros from www.thejarstore.com. they work great.
  6. Thanks that is a little different. I would have never thought of dipping leaves. Any other ideas
  7. High I am knew here and this is my first post. Have been reading alot of the postes and was wondering if anyone dips anything besides animals or pine cones?
