I guess it's because the mix produces a very smooth candle finish with no room for blemish of any kind. I am adding the scent just before pouring so should be at the right temp.

Actually I did yesterday, but I've since melted it back and poured it into votives!!!! They look kind of like grey streaks only at the top of the candles running down the sides about an inch or so.

I'm having problem with scent marking on the surface of my pillar candles particularly with the darker colours. I am pouring a mix of parafin/palm wax which gives a lovely smooth surface, but is being spoilt by these streaks of scent marking them. Any suggestions please?
