  1. OK, first let me say I know nothing about pillars but I have seen these candles in the store. What if you made your pillar, took it out of the mold, glued or hot waxed the cinn sticks on the outside of the candle and then dipped the pillar in clear wax a few times? Does this make sense? Please ignore me if this is just a stupid solution. I only make votives and some containers. Good Luck.

    ps...I love your snowman!

  2. I love your new site and your new name and logo. I was interested in one of those electric christmas snowman tart warmers. I might order one from you! But I did notice that in describing the electric tart warmer you say the wax tart melts with the warmth of the tea light. It's electric right? Might want to change that one. Good luck with it all.

  3. If it's the 57 cent votive holder from Walmart, I use a ton of those and have never had a problem with cracking. I like them because they fit my votives perfectly and they are thick glass. I've even dropped one on the kitchen floor and it didn't break! They do get hot but not any hotter than any other glass votive holder I have used.

  4. I'm going to continue to test Peaks new votive blend wax. It's weird getting used to the granular form, never tried that before, so easy.

So far it does seem very different from 4794. It shrinks alot more and I'm getting large sink holes at the wick pin. It does release VERY easy from the mold, which is nice. I read I need to pour at 175 and I was pouring at around 165 so will try a higher temp. I haven't test burned either. Test test test. :)

  5. I agree, Sruce Christmas Tree is great! I really like the French Vanilla Amber in the voitves I made. I don't really smell much vanilla but the scent is really nice, reminds me of a perfume. It is really strong, I did 1oz to 1lb wax and will cut down on the FO next time.
