I work full time. I have a daughter who is 9, a husband and a dog named Harley. I ride my own motorcycle! I have wanted to start making my own candles and did a search on the web to get info on how to do that, and this is where I ended up! Great place -

  1. Hi Everyone, I found this site looking for L'aOctaine dupes and Henri Bendel FO dupes. Was just wondering if anyone here has bought FO's from this company and how did they work out? Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone! I came across this site that sells FO's. I was looking for Henri Bendel dupes and L'aOctaine dupes for making soy candles. Wanted to know if anyone buys from them or have bought FO's for making soy candles and how the oils are?? I just started making my own candles for a little over two months now and love the Vanilla Bean by Henri Bendel. I bought one of these candles about seven months ago because I fell in love with the scent ($26 for a 10oz candle!!!) and they made the candle with the wick too small so the whole thing burnt right down the middle... what a waste of money. SOOOO I want to make my own... Any reply would be wonderful! Thanks!
  3. I'm in Florida (central) and I have found only one supplier in FL. It's called Florida Soy Solutions. They are in Sanford, FL and carry Enchanted Soy, wicks, dye, FO's etc. Michelle is wonderful to do business with and I get my wax the next day after she ships it out! I found her by going to the wax manufacturer's site and she was listed as a distributor. You might want to check your local phone books as well ...you might find a supplier in your local area. Good luck in making your candles! I just started making candles myself.. about two months now.
  4. THANKYOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! I just placed an order with them!!!!
  5. Hi Everyone, I am new to making candles. I started because I had a lady in my area that made my candles but I can't seem to locate her now - Anyway, she made a candle for me that she called "Savannah sea breeze." I know that is was a mixture of "Salty Sea Air" and "Savannah sunset." I have been able to locate the "Salty Sea Air" but I can't find anything called "Savannah Sunset!" I know that the last time she made my candles for me, she said that the Savannah sunset was being discontinued but she found someone to re-create the scent for her. I LOVED THIS SCENT SOOOO MUCH! Please help!! If she is right about the scent no longer being sold - maybe someone else has the same scent - but called something different! SORRY, I POSTED THIS QUESTION IN THE WRONG PLACE>>>> Also, I was looking to re-create a Henri Bendel candle called "Vanilla Bean." I looked at the ingredients and tried to mix those scents together, but the candle smelled terrible!!! If anyone has any suggestions for this one as well, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!!!
