  1. I plan to use polypro ziplock bags to put the fresheners in, but I wonder if anyone knows where I can find the paper hanging thingy (I know, so technical) that I can print my company information on and staple it to the ziplock bag. It is the cardboard part that has a plastic bag attached to it, and the cardboard part hangs on the peg at the store. I want something I can print information on such as company name and usage instructions. I've been doing searches on the internet but I can't find anything like I want.

I looked at Uline and Papermart and didn't see anything comparable.

    Thanks!

  2. I wouldn't use DHL if my life depended on it. In our rural area, they only deliver on Thursdays, and you find this out AFTER you have made the order and called them because you didn't get the delivery on time. A few years ago, I ordered some very nice gifts for our children on their birthdays (they are one day apart), and DHL said they couldn't deliver them because we had snow on the ground. I called them and let them know what I thought, and my husband had to drive 1-1/2 hours to pick up the packages at the DHL location so our kids could have their birthday presents in time. I also let them know that my husband's Chevy Aveo had no problems driving in 2 inches of snow and that FedEx and UPS also didn't have a problem in snow. I will never order anything else with DHL delivery and when I start selling, I won't use them, either.

  3. Double of .5 oz would be 1 oz, not 0.1 oz.

If you use 2 oz of mica per 16 ounces of glycerin, I believe you should use 0.125 oz of mica for 1 oz of glycerin for an exact measure. Is that closer to what you mean? And you're just rounding it off to 0.1 oz?

What concentration do you use for CP soap?

  4. Thanks, I thought she might. I don't even have coconut around here for when she's not here. It's just gone from our lives. Her allergy is not as severe as your son's, but I certainly wouldn't want to even take the chance!

  5. Get someone who knows something about grammar to go over your website. You need to come across as a professional, not someone who can't pass an English class.

People will either love your website and want to buy from you or they will see the errors and close the page. You may have wonderful products, but I would not buy from you based on your website. Make your website professional so you can sell them!

  6. The north end - the "rich" side, or maybe Monument. There's a strip near Veda salon on North Academy that's expensive, but given the scale, size, traffic and location - it might be worth it.

Other spots I was looking at, though it's a bit of a drive would be out near Falcon in that boom area out there, but I want to see how it pans out next year with all those foreclosed homes out there. Those are a large contributor to our "lead" in national foreclosures because of the hundreds of cookie cutter subdivision, contractor mass sell houses.

That would be a wicked drive up to Monument during the winter. The area where the Veda salon is sounds like a good area, though. I've always wanted to go to that salon, but it never worked out. Hope the weather behaves next week; I have a sleep study at Memorial 11/11.

  7. Motion also makes me ill. When we go to see our relatives in Oklahoma, it drives me crazy to see the lights blinking on all the windmills around Lamar (Colorado) and also on the irrigation rigs in eastern Colorado and driving into Oklahoma (when we drive at night). Don't blinking lights also bother those with epilepsy? I know with fibromyalgia it is easy to get overwhelmed by noises and smells; also, just walking into a place with a lot of people, walking into an unfamiliar store that is real busy with lots of displays, or driving to a new place in a large parking lot will make me disoriented. I can't seem to take everything in at once and get overwhelmed.

There is a website from one candle maker that has a rose or something moving around on the site, and I can't stay on that site at all.

I also get carsick. However, for some reason, I can ride rollercoasters because I can look forward and not out to the side.

Traffic circles don't nauseate me, they just confuse me!

  8. The very best perfume I ever had was a musk that I got for graduation in ....sigh....1974. (be kind) It had such a heavy, sweet smell...I loved it! I still have the bottle, but I threw away the box and I have no idea what the name of the musk is. I'd pay good money to find this same perfume now.

  9. I make both log & slab molds. Sorry, I don't supply bon-bons with my molds.

    BTW, it's spelled "viola"

    Actually, it's spelled voilà.

  10. And beware if you live in a rural area. In my area, DHL only delivers on Thursdays! We were waiting for packages to be delivered before New Years. Didn't know about the Thursday policy, but the truck apparently left the center at 5 a.m. on Thursday. I finally called at 5 pm when I hadn't gotten my package, and they told me it would be on the late truck. Okay...waited...waited....waited...no package. Called them back Friday. Oh, they only deliver on Thursday. DUH, yesterday was Thursday and I didn't get my package. Oh, the snow was too deep and they couldn't deliver it. DUH, my husband drives a Chevy Aveo and he can make it up my driveway. UPS and FedEx can make it up my driveway. I was so mad I was spitting nails. Hubby finally had to go get the package himself (1-1/2 hours drive each way) on New Year's eve. I'll never use DHL again.

The UPS guy goes above and beyond the call of duty to get packages here. I recently had a delivery date on a package from UPS, and the guy had the courtesy to call me when he realized he couldn't get through 1 foot mud ruts to our property so that I could meet him at the main road. The DHL guy could have also called me and I would have met him at the road.

I told DHL they need to get experienced drivers if they are going to be driving in rural areas.
