I was wondering does anyone use candle wic for FO's? And if so how is the quality of them?

mosts suppliers will have sample packs. so that way you will get a few different sizes of the same wick in a sample pack.

Iuse this wax sometime to I found that I do like the 4786 better but if you just want to try this wax you can go to this wbsite and they have 5lbs slabs that way you will come out a little cheaper. cierra candles

hello im currently using the igi 4786 wax which i used 1pd 1 oz let cure for 2 weeks decided to light a candle today to test it and it gives off a beautiful scent but there are funny ripples in the wax. do not understand this at all i normally use 4630 and thought i would give this wax a try. what did i do wrong?

has anyone ever ordered from this company? I think they are new but just curious as to what people think of their oils.

why do some oils weigh more than others when i measure them on my scale...ex: 3 oz of cherry = 3.5 oz of blackcherry on same scale..

Thats also what i do if i pour in the evening then wait until the next morning if i pour in the morning i wait until the evening and put the lids on.

I poured this scent 2 weeks ago and it is very strong. I was trying to figure out what it smelled like and I guess you are right it does have a maple smell to it. a few of my customers to do not care for it at all. so I have been looking for a different vanilla also.

I also live in florida and have had a hard time finding any suppliers here. There is a place close to Jacksonville who speacializes in gel.

no this is in the evening time. i use 4786 wax and this has happened in two of the candles now that i have burned to different scents

I burned my candles that i made last week and it throws a nice scent and burns very well but I have noticed that if you look inside the jar that it looks like there are clouds in it any idea why?

I have been using the 4786 and really like it. I have also wondered about the harmony blend myself. I have been wanting to try it but its like one of those things you find you like it you stick with it. so am skeptical about changing over.

you have all been great thank you very much i did buy a shot glass with the oz on the side of the glass im going to give it a shot here with in the hour also banana pumkin is very nice smell i love it.

Thank you I was trying to do it without buying a digital scale right now as my funds are kindof short i made some candles last weekend and my banana pumkin turned out very good but my hawaiian breeze has a very light scent and i used what i thought was 1oz on both by using the measuing spoons. I'm slowly learning though

Hi there i'm new to all this candle making stuff but am having a difficult time trying to figure out how to measure the weight of the FO since measuring spoons arent really accurate what do i use instead.
