Thanks so much for all your input. I have 24 glass votive cups...just never thought about using the actual glass cup as the mold!?
I will give it a whirl!

Hello:
I am looking for a FLORAL CITRONELLA fragrance to use in SOY.
Does anyone know of a supplier or has anyone made their own by mixing?
What floral would you recommend?
I prefer a Canadian supplier if possible!?
Thanks!

Just wondering how others weigh/measure the FO?
What vessel do you use to weigh/measure it in?

I use Ecosoya CB135 for my tealights with 1/2 tsp of BW per pound of soy wax. So far, they have been great!!

I have used CB-Adv exclusively for my 5oz and 10oz apothecary jars. I just started using CB 135 for my tealights. I guess the main reason I shied away from the CB135 for jars is that I was told it frosts quite a bit...I don't have a huge frosting issue with the Advanced.....but may give it a try to see about improved scent throw!?

Hi There!
I use EcoSoy PB and CB-Advanced exclusively. I add about 1-2% of BW for hardness and better scent throw.
It's harder, that is for sure, but I don't notice a HUGE difference. I am just experimenting with CB-135 for my tealights...it was suggested by NGIwax.

I use Ecosoya PB exclusively for my votives. I use the 2oz metal flared top votive molds and have great results, they slide right out with a nice smooth finish! I use HTP73 wicks for my soy votives.

Hi Brian:
Thanks for your input. What does a TL28 or TL31 equate to with respect to an HTP wick?? I am in Canada and have not seen that type listed on any CDN suppliers sites. Would it be like a HTP 28? I currently use an HTP73 for my 5oz jars and votives.

I have tried Ecosoya CB Advanced for my tealights using both S330 wicks and 18-342T, with no success. They burn for 20 mins then the flame shrinks and eventually is so low the melt will actual start to re-harden.
It has been suggested that I try the CB 135. What HTP wick works best with tealights?
Would adding Beeswax help with hardness??
Any suggestions are welcomed!
Thanks!

I make my tarts from EcoSoya PB (same configuration as my votives)
1oz of FO and pour into 1oz melt molds.
They are awesome and are one of my biggest sellers!

I am looking for a website or posting on mixing dyes (specifically liquids) for soy wax.
With the soy wax having a yellow colour, you don't really get 'red' when you add red liquid but rather a magenta type colour.
Any information on colour blending for soy waxes and candles would be greatly appreciated.

I use CB 135 with my handmade HTP41 wicks.
I get 5-6 hours burn time as well.........
