  1. I just burned a whole wheelbarrow full of pine cones last night.

    :tiptoe:

What were you thinking!!! You could have sold them easily!!! I just bought some from a lady in Georgia! Usually Geogia Pine Cones are huge........these weren't that big, I guess because of the drought this year! But they are still ok. I love Pine Cones!!!!!

  2. Oh my gosh...............I did too! I was in the Cracker Barrel and I always sniff the Yankee candles too see if I like any of the scents and I loved this one!

I like Pomegranate anyway, but it smelled so good!!! I searched everywhere for the oil and so far no luck............anybody tried mixing Pomegranate and Mulled Cider?? or Apple Cider???

  3. I have both Pumpkin Cookies from Flickers and Pumpkin Crunch Cake from NG.

I think the Pumpkin Cookies smells sweet, but not too sweet. It has a good throw in soy. Pumpkin Crunch Cake has A LOT of spice (cinnamon & clove) in it. If you have smelled Amish Harvest from Peaks, it reminds me of that with pumpkin. I think I have tried EVERBODY's Pumpkin and Apple Pie!!

I like Soy Candles Pumpkin (Flickers is my new favorite) and KY's Apple Pie

Although there are some other apple pie oils that are pretty close to KY's

  4. Yep Candle Buddy and it is AWESOME!!!! I really like it! Fall Harvest is a good one too! Actually I haven't found one I didn't like from Flickers. She has good oils! I use GB415 and all of her oils perform well in it!!!!:D Tuscan Lace, Olive Blossom, Moonlight Path are all good.

  5. Looks like I will add that to my list when I order from KY. I never tried it because I used Snowtops first and I thought nobody could beat it! I use Apple Pie, Country Gift Shop, Fresh Peach, Mulberry, Midnight Pomegranate,

Sage & Sweet Grass and Summer Breeze. Are their any more oils I should get

that are good sellers for you? Oh, Apple Jack and Peel I have a 2 oz. sample of..........it smells good but I haven't put it in wax yet. I'm getting ready to place a big order next week and I plan on getting her new ones she just added!

I think I have tried everyones Apple Pie and I just can't find one better than hers~!

    Thanks!

  6. Sounds pretty good! I will have to give it a try!

Have you found a better pumpkin pie than Soy Candles???? I haven't! I have tried so many different ones and theirs seems to be the strongest one yet!

    I like Snowtop's Gingerbread Cookies, I haven't tried Ky's yet, but I'm sure it's good, I haven't found one of hers yet that isn't!!!!

You could call it Pumpkin Bread or Pumpkin Ginger or Fall Fixins????

    Thanks for the info!:D

  7. ICS= Indiana Candle Supply

They recently purchased Snowtop Candle Supply

My opinion they both have high quality oils!!! I have been using both suppliers (now one!) since I started making candles 2 years ago. I use

    GB 415 SOY.

Kathy @ Indiana is a very good person! They have good service and high quality oils................what more could you ask for! You won't be dissapointed in either. Snowtops oils are very strong and true to their name

so is ICS oils! Great Variety, Good price, Fast shipping!!!!:D

  8. I have been thinking the same thing myself...........I wish there was 1 supplier that had it all, but I don't think there is such a thing! I keep saying I'm going to cut down because of shipping cost, but it's hard too! I have a lot of suppliers and they each have a certain oil I like better than somebody elses!!!!

I'm guessing Bitter Creek would be my pick they have the largest selection and good strong oils! Plus they carry my jars too!

    GOOD LUCK!!!!:D

  9. Just wanted to let everyone know............KY Candle Supply has

2 new oils!!!! Plum Berry Spice & Grandma's Cupboard!!!!! She is running a special like she always does 2oz. for $2.00.

More than likely these will be added to my line of fragrances! I haven't found 1 yet that I dont' like from KY Candle!:yay:

  10. Hello!

I have tried many differnt Baby Powder oils...............if I remember correctly, I think the Candlemakers Store Baby Powder oil is dark.

All of the other ones I used were real light in color. I use Baby Powder from Soy Candle.

    Couldn't help but notice, USMC

My son is in the Marine Core and has been to Iraq 2 times, however his enlistment is up in September, so I will be relieved :yay:
