  1. Yes, the news is true. It got to be too much for me to keep up with, as my husband will be in Iraq by the end of the month. There was way too much lifting, and I knew I couldn't do it alone. One that I left out is Bedtime Bath, but I think that one will end up being renamed, as it is not a duplicate of Johnson & Johnson's.

I'm very happy that Brent has taken over my oils. I took pride in them, and I know he will, too. I just got off the phone with him, and he said these oils will be in by the middle of next week and will go immediately on his site.

Please understand that there is probably going to be a slight price increase. I started these pre-buys just among friends so that we could share the oils, and the news spread like wildfire. I only charged enough for the oils, shipping to me, bottles, and packing materials, so my profit was next to none. Personally, I think it's well worth it to be able to get these oils anytime you want without having to wait.

Thank you for all your support. I've had a lot of fun.

  2. There is just a very slight discoloration with WCA. VBN turns dark brown, just as you would expect from any fragrance that contains vanilla. You may find the scent in VBN fades at first, but give it the full cure time and it's back big as you please.

  3. Invoices will go out tonight. I have been working like a dog to get this done, so please be patient. I had 95 pounds of oil to bottle, label, and package by myself and it was quite a job. I didn't realize just how much DH helped until he wasn't here! He'll be leaving for Iraq in about a month..

I would like all packages to be out of here by Tuesday. If you pay by e-check, your box will not ship until it clears.

Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding.I really appreciate it.

  4. Thanks, everyone for your kind remarks. I wanted to let you know that I am going to close the buy at 9:00 tonight. The response has been overwhelming and I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Thank you for your orders. I'll let you know when the oils arrive. :)

  5. My website is: www.latherworks.com. As of yet, I am not a supplier, but it may come to that eventually. I've done many pre-buys for my oils, and so far, people really seem to like them. I sold out of all my oils in the last buy, but I am working on new ones to add. I'm sure I'll be doing more buys in the very near future. You won't see a post about it here, but word does seem to get around.

Thank you for your interest, though. :smiley2:

  6. I bought some black cherry from rustic escentuals about a year and a half ago. It still smells wonderful from the bottle, and when I add it to my gel, it smells great. I used to have good luck making 3 & 5" pies.

The problem is, when I make my pies, you can't smell them when they are burning. Is it possible that the fo is too old? I want these pies to blow your socks off!

Can anyone recommend a better fragrance, or should I just scrap this bottle and get a newer one? I feel like an idiot for asking. I've never had a problem with any of my fragrances getting old.

    Thanks!

  7. I bought some recently and I'm not having any problems with it at all. I've been using it for about 2 years now and I haven't noticed any difference. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, but I usually don't have that kind of luck...

If you like, I could send you a little bit so that you can try it....Just let me know.

  8. Well, this will probably get me kicked in the rear, but here it is!

    Vanilla Bean Noel - $13.00 a pound

    Winter Candy Apple - $14.00 a pound

Both oils are soap safe and work very well in wax. (Soy, too!)

Ending date: 9/30/06. As long as I have payment by 8:00 Monday morning, there is still time! Paypal address is latherworks@verizon.net .

Order will be called in on 10/2/06 at 9:00 AM

Oils take about a week and a half to arrive.

I will send you a separate invoice for your exact shipping when your oils are boxed up and ready to ship. That should take me about 48 hours from the time the oils arrive.

Very soon, I will have a page on my website for the pre-buys. It will make life so much easier. This is my 5th pre-buy on these oils and everyone seems to be very happy with them.

    Hope that helps some.

    Wendy
