  1. No I'm not selling these. I hope to someday but I don't have enough experience making them to sell them. I have ordred some one pour container wax so I'll try that when it comes in. Thanks for all the help.
  2. I'm using a paraffin wax (not sure about the number) and making container candles.
  3. I did three candles and even with a 2nd and 3rd repour there are a little sunken in the middle. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
  4. I had found a webpage that described the different scents you could use based on tones and now I can't find it. Does anybody know a site that has that?
  5. I totally agree about those cheap candles, which is why I want to start making my own. A lot of them also burn so quickly it's not even worth the money.
  6. You melt the crystals in a boil bag and then add the scent and dye and then pour into the container or mold.
  7. No these are unscented. Hobby Lobby had been selling a kit with wax crystals when I first started and I still had some of them. But I've been buying most of my stuff from Hobby Lobby. I plan on (once I finally get a job) buying from a candle supply store instead of Hobby Lobby in the future. Thanks for the help.
  8. I've only just started making candles (on and off) in the last year. I made a candle about 6 months ago using wax crystals and just now started to burn it and the scent (which was really strong a few months ago) is nonexistent. Is this because I used the wax crystals instead of another kind of wax or is it because I haven't burned it at all in the last 6 months?
  9. Hobby Lobby has Crafty Candles brand parafin wax 10lbs for 9.99. Is that good quality wax or should I try and find another brand? Also, I have lots of old crayons, can they be used as a dye in a candle?
