  1. A lot of suppliers do buy the same stock fragrances from the same manufacturers. I recall a few years back being told by a supplier that a lot of TCS, Missy's and King House's scents were the same (she was quite amused that I preferred one supplier's fo over hers when it was the same fo, and yeah, it is pretty funny when folks fight over which one's better when you know they're the same). I'd imagine that would now be TCS, JS and Keystone with at least a handful of the same, to name some of probably many. If I'm all wrong, feel free to let me know!

    Anyway, here are some more:

Magnolia Melba from Tony's, Summer Fling from BB and Mardi Gras from OT

    Bayrum: OT & SW

Candy Corn: TCS, KS, CC, JS

    China Rain: TCS, JS

    Raisinbread, blahblahblah: WNW, JS, FOH

CC & Daystar: Vanilla Voodoo/Ultimate Vanilla

    Twigs & Berries: NG, Steves

WNW creme brulee & NG's butter brickle - very similar. even yellows my soy wax the same way

Kitchen Spice - JS & Daystar

NG's Mrs. Claus Cookies and Day Star's Vanilla Bean Noel

adding: SC Watermelon = Day Star's Watermelon Martini

I was going to say Mrs. Claus Sugar Cookie and Vanilla Bean Noel too-- they are completely identical.

  2. I was wondering about the fuel smell. Glad you mentioned it before I bought it. :)

I haven't ever picked up a fuel smell and we sell it quite a bit so I assume our customers don't either. I suppose depending on what kind of wax you put it in might bring out different things, and I've only made this in tarts, not candles.

  3. You actually smell a spicy orange in this? All I get is pure fresh juicy oranges...and same with anyone else I've had smell it. I wish I could smell a chili pepper scent in there...

It's hard to explain this one. It's more than our Fresh Squeezed Orange which smells just like a poured glass of oj. This one to me is more like an exotic orange, if that would be the right word for it??? Just has more of a zip to it and I smell it definitely as an undertone, but it's there!

  4. I've never gone wrong with Peaks! Everything I've ordered has been out of this world using 50/50 blend. Some of my favorites are:

    Brown Sugar & Fig

    Sage & Lemongrass

    Lemon Pound Cake

    White Tea & Ginger

    Fruit Slices

I'm not a huge fan of florals but their Rose Bouquet is just amazing at how accurate it is! If you closed your eyes you'd swear there was an actual bouquet beneath your nose!

  5. Mixing red and green together is like mixing red, yellow and blue.....all primary colors, which when mixed together gives a neutral brown like color. So if you were to do these colors with the slightest bit more of the red, you could probably get something like a mauve.

  6. JMO, to me Mauve is somewhat deeper than a pastel, I'm guessing that if you mix mostly red and start adding tiny amounts (I use a toothpick) of black, you might get what you're looking for. This combo gets me my raspberry color but it might get you mauve with a little less black than what I use. You just have to experiament.

  7. From my understanding, many places do sell the same fragrances, or very similar at least, and give them different names. I buy from both places and both are great. JS is definitely one of my favorites although a little expensive. I would go with the one where they have other fragrances that you want to get with your order or who is located closest to you to cut down on the shipping cost.
