i was making a 2lbs batch and i forgot to put in the flax oil it was 10% of the recipe. the soap is almost rock hard. i almost couldn't get it out of the mold. the colors didn't swirl they dotted up. that wha ti get for rushing. so now is it good for anything or should i just throw it out to be safe.

i just made a thread about swirl (before i searched) and i will try the in the pot with less color like you said. your swirls are to die for i hhope i can get mine close to that thanks

i got my dye chips and try to do a swirl but it didn't work out to well. does any one have a pictorial of how to swirl in the log mold. when making a 2lbs batch how much soap do you measure for the color.

i order from them but when i went to complete the order i messed up so it didn't go through. so i email them and they got right back to me they told me the order wasn't completed and would i like them to process it for me. i said yes and they sent it out on monday and i recieved it on wednesday. but i'm in nyc so it may take longer but try and email them and see what happens.

Im new here and I see you ladies have the most colorful soap ever. I wanted to know what are you using? I see post about FO making color and the drys; but I couldn't find a thread just about where you get you colors or what you use so Im asking for a list; I would like to use colors and make some swirls. i have only made a few bars just getting into it but i think if i had color i wuld be more excited and do more. Thanks in advance
