  1. My newly poured soy candles have been "sweating" lately, but minimally. I only use 1 oz. fo per pound, but my shop has been VERY warm (ok, hot) the last few weeks. In my case, I'm sure it's the temperature, because it's certainly not fragrance overload and nothing else has changed except the air temperature/humidity.

  2. I use ecosoya pb and wick pins. I spray mold release in each one, which helps. But I still end up taking a very thin, sharp knife around the bottom of the pin - then they usually come right out without damaging the votive. For me, it seems that if I let them sit for a day or two it's even worse. I have better luck removing the wick pins when they're cool, but fresh.

  3. I've also done this before. Live and learn I guess. Be careful of just drilling and inserting a wick. The wax that spewed out had to come from somewhere, so chances are if you just wick the pillar there will be a huge air bubble in there somewhere. Might be okay for testing, but I wouldn't want to sell it that way. JMO
