Thanks for all the info on these jars everyone! I found them at Dollar Tree and I am stoked that I don't have to pay shipping!! Finally something local!

That looks like a mottling wax. Try IGI 1274.

I love that! Very fall!
-
Very pretty! I love that color combo!

CLV is one of my all time favorite scents, and IMO, Peak's is not a dupe. I thought it smelled really soapy. I think AH has an awesome one, very true.

This is the longest size I've seen for these:

where did you find a source for some of those boxes?? I've been looking for things like that, as well as the boxes used by Voluspa (www.voluspa.com) but I can't find a source for them - mostly because I don't know what to call them in packaging industry-speak
I would guess that you won't find a source. They are most likely custom designed and manufactured.

Definitely right about the packaging and marketing. Some people just *want* to spend money like that.
And these are obviously people with more money than good sense.
Hey, I'm all for pretty, high quality candles, but those prices are just absolutely ridiculous! Don't get me started on rich people, lol.

Cool candle! I like that!

Is the fragrance 'Lavender Apples & Oak' or are u talking about 2 seperate FOs? Because the combo sounds interesting and if that is the fragrance can you tell how it does in soy? I love lavender combos. Thanks.
It is one oil. I would say it's a perfect mix of the three. I've never tried it in soy, but it is such a nice scent I definitely recommend it.

The word 'Celtic' makes me think of green grass. I've tried Peak's Tall Grass in wax (sorry, no B& and it is a very strong, clean scent, IMO. The word 'Medieval' reminds me of lavender. Maybe AH's Lavender, Apples & Oak might be nice. HTH

I'd check a wholesale flower supply business.

For wicks, say your wicks cost (from supplier) is $7 per bag of 100. I would add 1 or 2 dollars for shipping (I figure it's only part of an order, I don't usually order just one thing from a supplier due to high shipping costs.) Total cost for you is $9 per bag of 100. Each wick is 9 cents.
Additives: what I did was I measured out a half pound of stearic. Then I measured out how many tablespoons the half pound contained. According to my calculations, there are 50 tbsp. per pound. Take the cost from supplier (don't forget to add some for shipping) divided by 50 tbsp. per pound.
I really hope I've explained this clearly, lol. You can PM me if you want. HTH!

I don't have any recommendations for a good one, but the S&C from NG is nasty, IMHO.

www.cierracandles.com is in Reno, Nevada.

Very nice, great job! I especially like the fall colors (top pic).

I like that! Nice job!

I don't know for sure, but it looks like a drinking glass. You could try a restaurant supply store.

That looks really cool!
