Good question, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe someone will jump in.
How are you liking that wax Tootie? I had to add soy, hate to re-pour/top off.
Still testing it tho'

Took a candle with me to a motorcycle rally this past week-end, everyone sits around outside, anyway the neighbors could smell my candle with the door CLOSED.
2 parts 6006
3 parts 415
1 oz BW per 5 lbs
1 drop brown per 5 lbs (I make them very natural color)
8% FO per lb (country berry hotcakes BCN)
The MP and ST was just to dye for.
I also tested Lemon Pucker (BCN) w/ 2 44-24Z same results.
THEY WE'RE AWESOME.
I still want to try 4 parts 415 to 1 part 6006, been testing for so long now what's a couple testers?
2 44-32 Z

These are not frosted but: maybe you can etch and seal them yourself. Just a thought.

Hey Trapp, Good To See You Here.

My 12 cup coffee carafes hold 3 lbs. OS were you able to get the tall ones. They are really easy to pour from.

I hope you have lots of money.... this is not a cheap hobby....

AMEN TOOTIE
OKAY I JUST CAN'T GET THIS QUOTE THING DOWN. NEVER COMES OUT RIGHT.

Ditto On The Wicks, I Leave A Little Longer Than 1/4"
As For "triple Scented", I Just Tell The Peeps That Ask That The Wax Only Allows So Much Oil To Go Into It And If You Were To Add More You Would Have More Problems To Deal With.

I am having a very hard time at waiting because I usually don't. It is smelling soooooo good. I am really fighting the urge.
-
Oops didn't add that part, Bittercreek has EZ Soy (same as GB 415), and candle Science
-
Yes , that's it. Here it is BUT you can get it cheaper, just look around. Holds about 35 lbs.
-
I too mix 50/50 w/ 415 but just poured 3 with 2 parts 6006 and 3 parts 415. I promised myself that I would wait until the full 2 weeks is up to test. That will be the 21St. Let's see if I make it. I keep going out there to sniff.

I use my one pounder to scoop out flake (I mix too), the four pounder to transfer wax from turk & surf to coffee carafe. I also drip wax when I try to pour from the metal pour pots.
Oversoyed definitely keep looking for coffee carafes the tall straight one not the short squaty one by Mr Coffee.

topofmurrayhill, Thank you sooo much. I have asked this ? b4 on another board, was told you could tell by the slight curve at the tip. I never could.
Pam, If you hold the wick up and look at it you can see on each side the v will point up or down. Try it, I think you will understand if you are looking at it.

EZ Soy from Bitter Creek, GB 415 from Candle Science (Those 2 are exactly the same just renamed for BCN). those are the only 2 100% that I have tried. I blend mine tho'

Got this off another board:
you can use olive oil or DPG - if you have an ounce of fragrance oil all you need is a few drops 5-10 drops to act as a base - ALL THIS DOES IS KEEP YOUR OIL FROM SMOKING.
-
Jane do you mind telling where you get them from?
-
Like the soft soap body wash. Has anyone seen any like this anywhere??
-
WOW evergreen is expensive!

I'm in the same boat. Good luck.

I have been testing the Performas in a 75/25 soy/para blend and so far so good. As long as you have the right combo they work GREAT. They are so smooth burning and I also like that they stand straight up. I double wicked a 16 oz melting pot jar, 3.5 in with 2 90's will try 85's, the 90's were a little to hot 3/4 of the way down. The 9 oz melting pot 3.25 in takes a 140 or 180.
