$100.00 minimum HTH
I thought they had an opening minimum order of $250 and re-order of $100. Not sure though. Just something that popped into my head.

Don't forget the cute little lid
All the rest of the cups I looked at didn't have the rating and where sold in sets of 5000 for about $40 and you still had to buy the lid separately.
Last question,
It says that these are OVAL which is what I want. I was hoping for something like the shape of the 2 oz. size. I bought some round 1 oz. size at GFS and I think people will think they are not getting as much tart even though my "tarts" are one ounce and the containers hold one ounce. You know customers, if they look smaller they will want to pay less. Am I making sense. I guess I am looking for something similar to tart size. Thanks for your help. I totally appreciate it.

What is an orbs? I am so confused.

If you ship souffle cup melts, you might want to check into protecting them carefully. I received several souffle cup melts in a swap, and the cups were cracked significantly. Didn't affect the melt, of course, but it was a booger to get the melt out of the cracked cup.
Just an FYI.
Thanks for the tip.

I got these in http://www.webstaurantstore.com/newspring-e1001-ellipso-1-oz-clear-oval-plastic-souffle-cup-1000-cs/128E1001%20%20%20%201M.html they have the needed 5 rating perfect size for scent samples. I didn't get them for my candles but may end up using them for samples.
So you paid about 23.00 for 1,000 of them right? Wow! That is great to know. I will sooooooooooooooooooooo be ordering them.
Thanks guys. CT is the best when I need help. :yay:

Hi all,
I have a lot of tarts to make and I HATE shrink wrapping. Does anyone pour them into one ounce souffle cups and just put a lid on it. Any pictures you would be willing to share if you do? I am trying to make my life easier since I am a full-time teacher and mother of 3. Also, is the plastic okay?
Thanks for any help you offer.

I don't mean to vear off topic here, but do you know why they stopped carrying j50? That's a pretty popular wax, isn't it?
No experience with this blend, sorry. But the reviews look pretty good on it. I notice someone else mentioned a problem with sinkholes too. Hopefully someone will pop in with some info.........
Not sure why they stopped carrying it. I can buy it by the pallet if I want.... NO THANKS! I decided to try a blend. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Hi Everyone,
I have decided to switch to a soy/parrafin blend. I am getting a lot of sink holes with SP container from WSP. What is the best temp to pour at to avoid the damned sink holes? I used to use J50 (with minimal sink holes) , but WSP stopped carrying it and I am not about to have it shipped from another supplier since I can pick up from WSP. Although I have been making candles for 4 years now, I am back to the newbie stage. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
T:yay:

maybe WSP www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com. I am not sure, but I believe they have 1.5 oz.Terri

I like it without the chair and extra ribbon around the chair. I think the ribbon takes away from it. But only if you wanted my opinion.
Take care,

I was a Tri-State last week, and had to get a slab of J50, because where I get my wax, was on vacation. I don't normally buy J50, but used to use it when I first started out. I didn't know it was discontinued either.
I haven't used the 223, so I am no help.
Where is Tri-State located?
T

It is not discontinued, if you look at BCS' website:
Astor J50 (now IGI 4636)
Renamed since Astorlite was taken over by IGI.
Maybe it is just discontinued at WSP where I get my wax from due to no shipping.... I would hate to have to pay to have it shipped. I will test J223
Thanks for the help.

I have not been focusing on my candle business because we had our house on the market and sold it. Then, I focused on the new house. So needless to say, I did not know that J50 was being discontinued. Also can anyone tell me how it compares to J223 which I will now have to test.
Thanks,
T
PS. It's good to be back

Microwave!! ..... ...Dear Lord...run for the hills............. :tiptoe: LOL!!
Thanks for all the ideas. I am really liking the griddle idea. Off to search for my griddle that I used to use to make pancakes.
Denise
I bet you will love it.... it is very easy. I used to use a brunn coffee pot plate warmer, but then I just thought of the griddle one day when I was in Walmart. You'll be so glad you got the wax melter. You'll never look back!
Congrats!

I use an electric griddle that you would make pancakes or grilled cheese on. I set the temp to about 200 degrees. This keeps the pots hotter than my wax. We can heat 6 pots at once. I usually only use 3 pots. By the time I have cleaned and washed the third one, the first one is hot enough again. It is a great system. I have a 500# wax melter. Aren't they the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my used for $750. God was smiling down on me that day because I was in the right place (on the internet) at the right time.
