  1. Don't forget the cute little lid

    http://www.webstaurantstore.com/newspring-e1001ld-ellipso-1-oz-clear-oval-plastic-souffle-lid-1000-cs/128E1001LD%20%201M.html

All the rest of the cups I looked at didn't have the rating and where sold in sets of 5000 for about $40 and you still had to buy the lid separately.

    Last question,

It says that these are OVAL which is what I want. I was hoping for something like the shape of the 2 oz. size. I bought some round 1 oz. size at GFS and I think people will think they are not getting as much tart even though my "tarts" are one ounce and the containers hold one ounce. You know customers, if they look smaller they will want to pay less. Am I making sense. I guess I am looking for something similar to tart size. Thanks for your help. I totally appreciate it.

  2. I got these in http://www.webstaurantstore.com/newspring-e1001-ellipso-1-oz-clear-oval-plastic-souffle-cup-1000-cs/128E1001%20%20%20%201M.html they have the needed 5 rating perfect size for scent samples. I didn't get them for my candles but may end up using them for samples.

So you paid about 23.00 for 1,000 of them right? Wow! That is great to know. I will sooooooooooooooooooooo be ordering them.

Thanks guys. CT is the best when I need help.:yay: :yay: :yay:

  3. I don't mean to vear off topic here, but do you know why they stopped carrying j50? That's a pretty popular wax, isn't it?

No experience with this blend, sorry. But the reviews look pretty good on it. I notice someone else mentioned a problem with sinkholes too. Hopefully someone will pop in with some info.........

Not sure why they stopped carrying it. I can buy it by the pallet if I want.... NO THANKS! I decided to try a blend. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

  4. Hi Everyone,

I have decided to switch to a soy/parrafin blend. I am getting a lot of sink holes with SP container from WSP. What is the best temp to pour at to avoid the damned sink holes? I used to use J50 (with minimal sink holes) , but WSP stopped carrying it and I am not about to have it shipped from another supplier since I can pick up from WSP. Although I have been making candles for 4 years now, I am back to the newbie stage. I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks,

    T:yay:

  5. Microwave!! .....:shocked2: ...Dear Lord...run for the hills............. :tiptoe: LOL!!

Thanks for all the ideas. I am really liking the griddle idea. Off to search for my griddle that I used to use to make pancakes.

    :DDenise

I bet you will love it.... it is very easy. I used to use a brunn coffee pot plate warmer, but then I just thought of the griddle one day when I was in Walmart. You'll be so glad you got the wax melter. You'll never look back!

    Congrats!

  6. I use an electric griddle that you would make pancakes or grilled cheese on. I set the temp to about 200 degrees. This keeps the pots hotter than my wax. We can heat 6 pots at once. I usually only use 3 pots. By the time I have cleaned and washed the third one, the first one is hot enough again. It is a great system. I have a 500# wax melter. Aren't they the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my used for $750. God was smiling down on me that day because I was in the right place (on the internet) at the right time.
