  1. Yep, that's where it's from. I may actually take a day and go up with my candles and wax. When I realized my candles weren't burning properly, I poured straight wax into my containers and burnt them. Without scent or dye, they still had a hard time. That's when I figured it wasn't me. I didn't realize others have had problems with this supplier until I started searching the boards. I've had a few small ones that I've called about, then let go. But this one is huge, since I poured a bunch of candles figuring all was well. Nothing new, so there shouldn't have been any differences. Oh well, time will tell...Thanks
  2. Yes, that's what I did. I thought maybe someone pulled the wrong wax. When I called they said they'd call me back because someone else complained. Days later, I called back, and they need me to send a sample so they can test it. They say they tested what they have in stock and it was fine. I don't know how they test it, but I'm guessing if they put a bigger wick in it, it would burn. So, I will send it, but probably won't get the answers that I need. Thanks for responding.
  3. Hi there, I'm new to posting on these boards, but have been a lurker and gotten great tips. I've been making candles about 3 years, without a problem. Now, on to my dilemma.... I use a single pour blend (1275 from C&S), 60-44-18 paper core in my 16oz and LX-12 in the 8oz, and normally i use 1oz of scent to 1lb of wax...ok, now, these candles always burn well, full melt pool, no wax left, they smell great...Now, here's my problem, I received a new batch of wax (same kind, I just needed more), made the candles the same way I always do, and guess what?...They don't burn, well, they do for a little, but they leave alot of wax...some even outen themselves. I thought I was retarded:p , and made another batch with a ratio of 1/2 oz to 1lb, same results. Now, I know the logical answer is to get a bigger wick, but my question is.. Why all of the sudden are my candles not burning? These are the same scents, same wax, same jars, same wicks that I've used for 3 years. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. I just wanted to let everyone know, that we took the candles and wax up to candle and supply to show them that something was wrong. They are figuring that yes, it was the wax. We were totally reimbursed for everything that we used/ruined because of the wax problem. I am extremely happy with the way that this was handled. There are always going to be problems, but if you stick with it, it'll probably get fixed. Have a great day!!
