I used the crock pot method with a stick blender, the soap looks like marble and there is no powder on it. As for fragrance I used extract oils, that is all I could find, not sure if i should have used them, but thought I would try it, from what I have read, when using lard, I would need to cover up the strong lard smell. So maybe, the oil I used did this. Hope this helps to help answer my question. Thank for the reply.

Hello I'm new to soap making, i made my first soap this weekend, it went really well, and soap is wonderful, but my soap does not have a unified color, I am primary using lard, coconut oil, olive oil, safflower oil, peanut oil, and canola oil. It is brown with white specks throughout, it is is pretty, but just wandering how to make it a solid color. Thanks for any help.
